“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”
We have all recited these lines since grade school, but federal policy often allows life to be snuffed out in its earliest moments. Today, President Donald Trump’s administration took a major step forward in protecting the sanctity of life.
The Trump administration is going to re-establish a Reagan-era rule that blocks recipients of Title X funding from 1) referring pregnant women to abortion clinics, and 2) operating under the same roof as an abortion clinic.
Once implemented, the rule would effectively ban Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics from receiving federal funds through Title X.
This is huge!
In 2016, Planned Parenthood received over $500 million in taxpayer funding and killed 881 unborn babies every single day.
Today’s announcement marks an important step in correcting this long-standing injustice.
