OK, so Barack Obama
and Hillary Clinton have decided to
import tens of thousands of refugees from countries known to be Islamic
terrorist hot spots, especially Syria.
Indiana Governor and Republican vice presidential candidate Mike Pence – worried about the lack of
proper screening procedures for such refugees - issued an order blocking the
resettlement of such immigrants in his state.
Yesterday the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals
told Pence to take his protective order and shove it.
So much for state’s rights.
And some people still wonder why so many people are flocking
to Donald Trump’s campaign?
Cheers.

Why the Main Anti-Stadium
Argument Falls Flat as a Pancake
The unrelenting sound byte rallying cry for those opposed to
building a new, multi-purpose domed stadium in Las Vegas is “No Public Money
for Billionaires.”
According to these folks, Sheldon Adelson should be funding
this public facility 100% out of his own pocket.
But I read something by sports writer Ed Graney in today’s Las Vegas
Review-Journal that I’d heard before but otherwise haven’t seen reported
anywhere else in the media…
“…the NFL isn’t going to suddenly lower its desired (insisted) percentage of public funding for a stadium…”
In other words, a public funding portion is REQUIRED
by the NFL in return for possibly approving the relocation of the Oakland
Raiders franchise to Las Vegas.
So even if Mr. Adelson was willing to fund the whole kit and
caboodle out of his pocket himself, the NFL wouldn’t allow it. And the reality is, if Vegas doesn’t get an
NFL team this stadium proposal makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
So if we want a new stadium, public participation appears to
be a MUST. Now the devil will be
in the details.
FAMOUS LAST WORDS
“The DC establishment and media elite cannot afford to let Trump get into the White House. If he gains access to the cooked books, the jig is up. The crimes, fraud, greed and bribery of the political elite will be exposed. Career politicians and life-long bureaucrats will lose their power and pensions. Companies will lose government contracts. People will be fired. People will go to jail. Hillary might be one of them.” – Columnist Wayne Allyn Root
