Lightning kills 65 in 4 days in Bangladesh

The beginning of the annual stormy season in Bangladesh has once again caused havoc due to lightning. As many as 65 people were killed in the South Asian country between Thursday and Sunday, Reaz Ahmed, director general of Bangladesh's Department of Disaster Management, reportedly said on Monday. At least 90 people have died since March 2016, Voice of America reported. On Thursday, 34 people lost their lives after being struck by lightning. A day earlier, 21 persons were killed by lightning. Seven people died on Saturday and three on Sunday. [...]

Will the looming conclusion of the Obama presidency lead him to engineer an all-out war by Iran’s terror surrogates, Hamas and Hezb’allah, against the embattled Jewish state? Will that war conveniently occur in December 2016, as Obama serves out the final days of his presidency? Is it conceivable that the pro-Muslim president of the United States will use such a conflict to predictably and mendaciously blame Israel as a means to permanently fracture the U.S.-Israeli alliance in a manner that would be difficult for any successor to repair? As extreme as this may sound, it is entirely possible in view of Obama’s past acts of blatant hatred toward America’s one and only true democracy and ally in the Middle East. As should be obvious by now, Obama believes that Islam has suffered from British and European Christian colonization and oppression. After being thoroughly prepared to be receptive to this message by his stridently anti-Western mother and maternal grandparents, such was the indoctrination Obama received from Khaled al-Mansour – a Muslim high-level adviser to Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal and anti-Jewish hate-monger – during his formative years. It was al-Mansour who helped Obama gain admittance to the Harvard Law School. Edward Said, an outspoken anti-Israel professor of Obama’s at Columbia University, and Rashid Khalidi, a former press agent for Yasser Arafat’s PLO, served as Obama’s mentor in the former case and friend in the latter. The week of Israel's 68th anniversary, NATO invited Israel – and three other countries – to "establish diplomatic missions to NATO headquarters." This is not NATO membership, something to which Israel does not aspire, but recognition that Israel has something to offer the Atlantic Alliance. Prime Minister Netanyahu said, "The countries of the world want to cooperate with us because of our determined struggle against terrorism, because of our technological knowledge, our intelligence deployment and other reasons." It may have something to do with the revelation that Israel had warned Brussels of lax airport security before the terror attack at Zavantem Airport in March. Or the discovery that Israel had offered France a tracking system for terror suspects after the Charlie Hebdo/kosher supermarket attacks and nearly a year before the September bombings that killed 130 people in Paris. France had declined. An Israeli source said, "French authorities liked it, but (an official) came back and said there was a higher-level instruction not to buy Israeli technology... the discussion just stopped." It may have something to do with NATO member Turkey's increasingly perilous position in the Middle East. Facing increased Kurdish restiveness, spillover from the Syrian war, ISIS imposed genocide, and increasingly strained relations with Russia over Syria and Ngorno-Karabakh, restoring security cooperation with Israel might be a lifeline for Ankara. This would account for Turkey dropping its opposition to Israel's NATO mission. Or maybe NATO is reverting to its previous view of Israel as a security partner and moving closer to the traditional American position, regardless of the increasingly shrill tenor of European politics (we're not the only ones). Think back to how on Sept. 11, 2001, we watched, as the perpetrators grabbed loaded planes from Boston, Newark and Washington, D.C. and took themselves, passengers and ground victims to fiery deaths—3,000 people. Walter Jones (R-N.C.,) in a Team Obama stalling tactic session, for the purpose of continued protection of the British/London enemy. Pressure alone won't accomplish the task of stopping the treason, and punishing the guilty, however. Guts and morality will. Obama is very vulnerable.
