SERMON - THE BOOK OF REVELATION IN WORDS OF UNDERSTANDING part 23

The Book of Revelation In Words of Understanding Part 23     John has written and thereby allowed us to learn of the triumph of Jesus Christ and His followers over all other religions. Satan is defeated and his minions on earth now rendered leaderless.    The marriage of Jesus Christ to His bride, the TRUE Christians, has happened and now the time for the naysayers that continue in their denial of Christ to learn of the follies of their misguided and unholy beliefs. The leader of these people, the Great Whore of Babylon, truly the Anti-Christ and her consort, Satan, have been proven to have no hold over mankind and the wedding feast is to begin.     Revelation 19: 17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, "Come, gather together for the great supper of God, 18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, small and great."God’s messenger cries out for the ”flesh” eating birds, signifying we TRUE Christians, and the “flesh” representing the many false doctrines, to be, “eaten,” exposed to God’s TRUTH, thereby destroying such false acts and thoughts. The thought being conveyed here is, through TRUE teachings of Christianity, with the blessings of God’s Holy Spirit, all false religions will cease to exist and will be rendered meaningless. Revelation 19: 19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. 20 But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. 21 The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.   John watches as, “the beast,’ Satan, “and the kings of earth and their armies,” false believers are brought to defeat,” and the Anti-Christ, with Satan, were spiritually condemned and cast into hell. All others were, “killed with the sword,” brought to TRUE Christianity by the TRUTH, which is the “sword,” coming from the mouth of Jesus.   God’s TRUE children took delight in destroying all “flesh.” This is to say, the destruction of any and all false doctrines.   Throughout the lives of all men Satan has sought to ensure that his evils and sinfulness would seduce men and thereby slay their souls. This was done to deny Jesus Christ any followers with which to combat the many false religions.   We are human and limited in our knowledge. Even so, ask yourself a simple question. ‘Why would Satan bother to play God as he set about establishing false religions?’    Simple?    Do not fool yourself! Satan has lived for thousands years and we, mere humans, for a single lifetime! There is no ‘simple’ answer.   Jesus Christ, being aware told us that He would “shorten days of calamity,” Matthew 24:22, or man could face utter destruction!   Even the Old Testament tells of the war to be fought with Satan. Joel 3:9-17 is explicit in its content and alerts us of the Lord protecting His people.   A study of Isaiah 13: 1-22 and Isaiah 14: 1-27 sets forth a summary of the events that will happen in the day of the Lord. Any that claim this day to have already passed are guilty of preaching false theology and must open their ears, “learn God’s Word,” and return to TRUE Christianity.    We live in a day where the forces of Satan are running rampant throughout the world. Not only must we be ever aware of the terrors of Islam, but must know of the forces at work here in our own homeland.   Today, as we live and breathe, we are faced with economic destruction brought about by the evil of greed. There are forces of Satan that seek to enslave all mankind by giving them things that they have not earned.    Genesis 3:19 “By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return."        We see political leaders as they set about ‘sharing the wealth’ by taking from those that earn by the sweat of their brows and giving that which was taken to those who do no sweating!   We see our political leaders devalue the goods (homes) of hard working people as they seek to give housing at less than fair value to those who take.   We hear Pastors, claiming to be Christian, as they approve of blessing homosexual relationships, turn a blind eye to abortion, and live off the largess of their congregations in luxury. We hear of television evangelists as they almost demand money from their viewers for “healings.”   Yes, Satan and his minions are running rampant in the world and Jesus promised to shorten such days and I, for one, am ready for Him to return!   The forces of Satan will be dealt with by Jesus Christ. It will be by the TRUTH that those forces will be overcome. We can look forward to not only spending our eternity in the presence of God but in the knowledge that Satan and His False Prophet WILL NOT go to the grave with their ancestors but will be CAST ALIVE into the Lake of Fire!   (Closing prayer)    Almighty God, Father of true believers, we come to You with praises and we worship You. You alone are our Lord and Savior, there is no other.   Lord, we are made ever aware of the weaknesses of man and the greed that overcomes them. We are doing all that we can to live in accordance with Your Word and ask that You strengthen us and bind us even closer to You. Just as Jesus taught us, Lord, we ask that You deliver us from evil. Strengthen us from succumbing to the evils of greed, sins of the flesh and do not allow us to fall prey to any that would take that which we have earned by the sweat of our brows as You have taught us.   Lord, we ask that You see fit to protect us from the wiles and whims of elected officials that live not to fulfill Your promises but to fulfill their lustful appetites. Protect us from the false religions and false religious leaders that would live and feast upon that which we have earned.   We pray these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior, who is One with You, father, and the Holy Spirit, One God, forever and ever,     Amen, amen and amen.
