TIME TO ACT...SUPPORT S 1881 DEFUND PLANNED PARENTHOOD

Contact your Senators - Urge them to vote for S. 1881, to defund Planned Parenthood July 29, 2015 Dear Conservatives, A few days ago, we asked you to call your Member of Congress to call for a moratorium of funding on Planned Parenthood. They heard you! But instead of just a one year moratorium, pro-life Senators took it a step further -- the Senate is going to vote on a bill to entirely defund Planned Parenthood! Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) just introduced S. 1881, to protect women's health and defund Planned Parenthood. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell promised a vote on it next week, before the Senate recesses for August. When will we decide we've have had enough? How much more appalling evidence do we need from Planned Parenthood before we officially cut ties between the taxpayer and this abortion giant that scavenges baby parts and haggles for the cost of each "specimen?" I say it's past time to tell Congress enough is enough. Planned Parenthood doesn't need or deserve any of our hard-earned taxpayer dollars. Planned Parenthood, whose motto is "Care. No matter what," cares mostly for their bottom line. While engaging in the horrific practices of sifting through aborted babies' parts to see which organs they can salvage and sell, they try to portray an image of respectable, compassionate health care providers. Ironic? Thankfully, Americans are finally seeing through Planned Parenthood's carefully crafted image. Planned Parenthood received one half of one billion dollars of our tax money in fiscal year 2013-2014, with a reported a total revenue of over $1.3 billion. It's time for the US Government to stop funding Planned Parenthood. If your Senators are pro-abortion, it is crucial that they hear from you. Even pro-abortion Americans have been shocked and sickened by what goes on behind closed doors at Planned Parenthood. Defunding Planned Parenthood should be a universally supported effort, regardless of party affiliation or views on life and abortion.
