I cringe when Christian leaders make predictions, especially when they name dates.
Mark Biltz, the author of Blood Moons
has taken a huge risk, predicting the time of the Second Coming, and he
has done it in a way that supports the godless Neocons and their
targeted strike against Iran, all too reminiscent of how these
despicable pols and their minions lured us into war in Iraq by posing
Dubbya as a Christian and leading us into a horrible war that cost us a
fortune and brought no gain -- in fact, its aftermath was the banishment of almost all Iraqi Christians. If ever there was a sign, it was that. But we do on following the godless Pied Pipers and that is a sin.
Jesus Himself said only God knew the time of His coming and that even HE himself did not know.
Shouldn't that tell us something about the godless error of making risky predictions?
Yet in the following, we see that Mark Biltz throws all caution to the wind and actually predicts it will happen by the end of 2016 (highlighted text, last paragraph below).

Robertson is famous for his failed prophecy, and has been wrong time
and time again. So has Benny Hinn. They get it wrong time after time
after time, and always in ways that seem attempts to gain fame for
themselves.
Atheists
use these false or failed prophecies as ammo against the Lord. I have
warned at the below-linked article about making prophecies in the name
of God:

believe God will never allow a man to exalt himself by making a
prophecy that comes true, esp a prophecy about the Second Coming,
because it is supposed to be as a "thief in the night."
If
we knew of an absolute certainty that Jesus were coming by the end of
2016, then how could this coming be as a thief in the night. Man is
obviously tying to make a liar out of God.
There
is no harm in hoping and in our wicked world, no wonder so many of us
long for the coming of the Lord. But let us resist the temptation of
making predictions. Let us instead humble ourselves and be content just
to live the simple and good life, loving both friend and foe alike as we
are bidden to.
No miraculous signs are required of us, thank God!

says one of the purposes of the “Mayday” event is to “claim God our
Father’s promise of an outpouring of His Spirit in these days following
three blood moons and a total solar eclipse: I will pour out my Spirit in those days. … The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. Joel 2:29, 31.”
Biltz, author of “Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs,” agrees, declaring America “is facing an ugly judgment time.”
And while no one can say for sure when such a time could arrive, Biltz cautions, he believes it “could be this year or definitely by the end of next year.”
