SERMON - TRUST IN GOD BUT OBEY HIM pt 6

Trust In God But Obey Him Part 6     Although the antichrists exerted all their wicked efforts to gain followers and replace God in the minds and hearts of men they will have failed! Regardless the evil methods they sought to employ to subjugate man to their evil God will forever rule the minds and hearts of His children as they remain faithful to Him that Created. All the wiles of Satan and his wicked followers are for naught as God will prevail.   As Christians and children of the One True God it is our duty to teach of Him, to tell all of His greatness and everlasting power.   Our Lord and Savior will return and deliver us from evil just as He taught us the prayer asking for such. Ours will be the reward of life everlasting with Him in Paradise . To those that obey Him, walk His way and place the faith in Him as we bear the evils inflicted upon us by those that hate even the thought of Him will ultimately gain His reward.   I have delivered sermons wherein I spoke of the fears we must not allow to enter into our minds. It is not by mere acceptance of what is to come but it is by facing life with the confidence in Him that will allow us to be seen as worthy of all that He has promised.   God’s servants that bear up to the persecutions, the pains inflicted on their earthly bodies, and the horrors that will be laid on man will hear words that will lift their spirits beyond our fondest imaginations.   Revelation 19:  5 Then a voice came from the throne, saying: “Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both great and small!”  6 Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting:  “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear. (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.) I must explain that the “she” referred to is us, the followers of Christ who are those to be “wedded,” with Him for an eternity!   As we are present with all of Heaven’s inhabitants we will witness the final downfall of the antichrists that sought to replace God in our hearts.   Revelation 19: 11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:     KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.   Verse 15 is of particular meaning as it uses the tense (future) wherein He will, “strike down,” and “will rule them.”   Satan will not admit defeat as his vanity and narcissistic ways will not allow him to admit defeat. To him, and his evil followers will be given a fate only God will ordain.   Revelation 19: 19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army. 20 But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. 21 The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.   We must come to realize that we too have been armed with the, “sword coming out of the mouth of the rider,” as that sword is God’s Word…TRUTH!   In His infinite wisdom and He will loose Satan again! Many will be deceived and will fall to Satan’s deceptions and evil ways. Fear not…all who truly fear but one entity, God, with righteous awe, will not suffer His wrath but will witness the final battle of GOOD and EVIL.   Revelation 20:  7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. 9 They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever   Whether it be we or our descendants that are alive on earth and must face up to the wicked and evil ways of Satan and his antichrists we must forever obey His Commands and adhere to His dictates. This we must teach to our children, our grandchildren and those that will listen.  As Christians this is our duty and our obedience to His Word!   (Closing prayer)   Almighty God, Father above, we enter Your presence seeking to make known our praises for You and for all that You do. We worship You Lord and thank You for allowing us to be written in Your Book if Life. It is our stated desire to have You deem each of us as worthy of entering Paradise to spend eternity basking in Your love and the Light of Your being.   Father, we thank You for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who will ultimately strike Satan down as He rules with truth and heavenly power.   Lord, we ask that You remain with us as we continue to confront the evils of this earth. Be with us in mind and in spirit. We thank You for the Holy Spirit and the wisdom He allows to understand the truth of Your Word and for the comforting of our spirits in times of need.   Lord, it is You that provides our every need and our very existence. For these things we thank You from the bottom of our hearts.   Father, protect our military, our officials that have You in their hearts, and those that do Your works. Ease the pains of those beset with worldly woes and lift their spirits. Allow each of them to gain strength simply from their faith and utter belief in You.   These thins we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, One God, forever and ever,   Amen, amen and amen.
