Alas, abomination results ... America’s decline of the past 10 years has been spectacular.
Economically, politically, morally and ethically, culturally, religiously, we are barely a
shadow of our once-great selves. Today we sustain the dream with $85 billion monthly
of Federal Reserve funny money used to buy our bonds and recycled into welfare and
other government spending. Same-sex couples are getting legally married in the South
for the first time, crossing a threshold in a conservative region long opposed to the
marriages. The U.S. Supreme Court's decision Monday to turn away appeals from a
handful of states including Virginia means marriage bans are unconstitutional
throughout the 4th U.S. Circuit. And that means similar bans in West Virginia and
North and South Carolina should fall as soon as judges in each state follow through
on the appellate court's orders.

What the Gay Marriage 'Debate' Is Really About

At its core, this increasingly heated fight over gay marriage is about two diametrically opposed and profoundly incompatible views of reality (or lack thereof). Have you really come to believe that this cultural kerfuffle has anything to do with "civil rights" or "equality"? And it's reaching critical mass.
On the one hand, on the natural-marriage side, we have a worldview that recognizes absolute truth—that acknowledges the fixed moral and natural law, authored and enforced from time immemorial by the sovereign Creator of the universe. This same Creator, incidentally, just happened to design and define the very institution over which we quarrel. Those with this worldview concede that every man, woman and child is accountable to this sovereign Creator and will, one day, stand before Him to face final judgment for what they did or did not do during their infinitesimally short-lived stint here on earth. This, though not a comprehensive representation, is the biblical worldview. On the other hand, on the unnatural-marriage side (or the "marriage equality" side as these self-styled "progressives" euphemistically prefer to it), we have a worldview that denies absolute truth. It imagines there are no fixed lines of demarcation between right and wrong—that morality, that reality, is entirely relative and, therefore, the very notion of good and evil, right and wrong, sin and repentance are but false and limiting constructs concocted in the narrow minds of a dull bevy of sheepherders some thousands of years ago. Since those with this worldview either deny God's very existence altogether or, alternatively, believe that some version of god, like marriage, can be defined, or redefined, in the mind of the beholder, they claim accountability to no one (except goddess political correctness) and, thus, declare reality to be that which they, the secular-"progressive" intelligentsia, proclaim it to be (e.g., that man-made, credulity-straining, reality-warping and oxymoronic counterfeit called same-sex marriage). Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, who happens to be both a big fan of unnatural marriage and one of the aforementioned intelligentsia, summarized this worldview neatly when he wrote the following in Planned Parenthood v. Casey. He did so while attempting to rationalize government-sanctioned child sacrifice, the evil twin to "gay marriage": "At the heart of liberty is the right to define one's own concept of existence, of meaning, of the universe, and of the mystery of human life," he pontificated. Right. Lay off the 'shrooms, dude. In other words, man is the measure of all things. Man is god, and there is no god but man. According to Kennedy, and as was first suggested by Satan in the Garden of Eden a very long time ago, truth is defined by man's "individual concept of existence." This, of course, is empirically and manifestly stupid. And so both of these worldviews cannot be right. It's impossible. The law of non-contradiction precludes it.
So who is right?
It's simple. Those who acknowledge objective reality, natural morality and absolute truth are right. Those who recognize that there are fixed biological, moral and natural laws—that despite the rebellious machinations of fallen man, can be neither altered nor ignored—won the debate before the debate even began.
There is no debate. Yet the debate goes on.
As for the continuing kangaroo courtrooms overseeing and facilitating the destruction of marriage via judicial fiat, I fully expect that additional reality-denying judges will call up down, black white and evil good. They'll declare a "constitutional right" to sodomy-based marriage. It's all the rage right now. Still, there is no legitimate legal argument to be made in favor of this absurdity. The common law, natural law and reality itself preclude any man, any court, any government, even state governments, from presuming to redefine the institution of marriage to exclude the necessary element of binary male-female complementarity. Mankind can no more redefine marriage to include same-sex parings than can he suspend the laws of gravity.
Yet these arrogant, godless, black-robed autocrats presume to do just that. The courts are tossing around spiritual nitroglycerin here. It's the stuff that brings down entire civilizations. Here's the bad news: The aforementioned Justice Kennedy is the swing vote in favor of imposing faux marriage on everyone.
Here's the good news: God will not be mocked.

America’s decline of the past 10 years has been spectacular. Economically, politically, morally and ethically, culturally, religiously, we are barely a shadow of our once-great selves. Notice that I did not include America’s military in our decline. That has yet to come, but its fall will be even more spectacular than those elements of society that preceded it, and completely devastating. NSA’s domestic spying apparatus indicates that the people in government do not trust the citizens they work for.
Indeed, the ruling elite have turned the military’s attentions inward. This should terrify any thinking American who values a less tyrannical government than, say, the East German Stasi under the communists. Those of you who are “not doing anything wrong” will, of course, be able to change your eye color, skin color, parents’ surnames, religious practices and political voting record to conform to the ruling elite’s perception of reality, and thereby remain free of IRS persecution and multiple government prosecutions of newly invented hate crimes. Won’t you?
So it is easy to see that Satan is responsible for America’s downfall. Isn’t it? I mean, here we were, just minding our own business, and wham! Who else could bring about the dramatic downfall of such a rich and powerful nation as America?
The Christian churches upon whose faith America was built of course resisted. They spoke with a united voice across denominational lines about the evils of abortion, euthanasia, sexual degeneracy, redefined marriage, welfare dependency, fatherless children, inner-city gang violence and undeclared wars abroad. And they suggested that Christians strongly consider the statements of those they elected to office regarding these evils.
They did all that, didn’t they? From Revelation 3:
14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
Well of course, that couldn’t be the American Church God is describing here at the end of time. Could it? Or maybe we didn’t do so good, after all. Maybe we fit right in with the rest of American culture.
God says,
“I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not” (Isaiah 66:4).
Guess what, America? Your demise is being orchestrated by God.
OBAMA: CONSTITUTION GUARANTEES SAME-SEX MARRIAGE IN U.S.
Tells New Yorker Equal Protection Clause assures it in all 50 states
WASHINGTON – Four years ago, Barack Obama was undecided about the legality of same-sex marriages.
Two years ago, he said he personally supports same-sex marriage, but that each state should decide for itself.
As of today, his views have changed again – stating, in an interview with the New Yorker, that the U.S. Constitution guarantees the right to same-sex marriages in all 50 states.
“Ultimately, I think the Equal Protection Clause [of the U.S. Constitution] does guarantee same-sex marriage in all 50 states,” Obama said. “But, as you know, courts have always been strategic. There have been times where the stars were aligned and the Court, like a thunderbolt, issues a ruling like Brown v. Board of Education, but that’s pretty rare. And, given the direction of society, for the Court to have allowed the process to play out the way it has may make the shift less controversial and more lasting.”
The Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution has been repeatedly cited by judges in the vast majority of the 46 pro-equality rulings that have come from state and federal courts since the Supreme Court struck down the Defense of Marriage Act last year – a law that was overwhelmingly enacted by both houses of Congress and signed into law by President Bill Clinton.
Obama said he thinks the biggest decision of the U.S. Supreme Court during his presidency was the its recent decision to pass the buck on same-sex marriage.
“In some ways, the decision that was just handed down to not do anything about what states are doing on same-sex marriage may end up being as consequential – from my perspective, a positive sense – as anything that’s been done,” the president said, referring to this month’s Supreme Court decision to let stand lower court rulings in favor of same-sex marriage in five states.
“Because I think it really signals that although the Court was not quite ready – it didn’t have sufficient votes to follow Loving v. Virginia and go ahead and indicate an equal-protection right across the board – it was a consequential and powerful signal of the changes that have taken place in society and that the law is having to catch up.”

Speak Now or Forever Forfeit Marriage
The Supreme Court may be running away from the marriage issue, but conservatives certainly aren't. In the hours after yesterday's non-decision decision, GOP leaders from governor's mansions to senate seats filled the silence left by the SCOTUS's justices with an indignation of their own.
Most were incensed that the high court turned down -- not one, but five -- state marriage cases, leaving voters to fend for themselves against out-of-control judges who seem quite content substituting their own view for that of the law and those elected to make it. "Because of the Court's (actions) today," Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) fumed, "11 States will likely now be forced to legalize same-sex marriage: Virginia, Indiana, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Utah, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Kansas, Colorado, and Wyoming. And this action paves the way for laws prohibiting same-sex marriage to be overturned in any state. This is judicial activism at its worst."

Two Christian pastors in Idaho have filed a lawsuit and asked the courts to temporarily restrain city officials from making them perform same-sex wedding ceremonies. Donald Knapp and wife, Evelyn, operate Hitching Post Wedding Chapel and have been required by city officials to perform same-sex marriages or else be jailed or fined. The Christian Post reports that Knapp’s penalty could be up to 180 days in jail and fines up to $1,000 per day that they refuse to officiate the weddings. After one week, that would amount to three years in prison and $7,000 in fines. The city of Coeur d’Alene says its non-discrimination ordinance requires the couple to perform the wedding ceremonies. "The government should not force ordained ministers to act contrary to their faith under threat of jail time and criminal fines," ADF Senior Legal Counsel Jeremy Tedesco said in a statement. "Many have denied that pastors would ever be forced to perform ceremonies that are completely at odds with their faith, but that's what is happening here — and it's happened this quickly," Tedesco added. "The city is on seriously flawed legal ground, and our lawsuit intends to ensure that this couple's freedom to adhere to their own faith as pastors is protected just as the First Amendment intended."
