Some Creationists Need a Science Lesson and Some Scientists Need a Brainby lisarichardsrocknrollpolitics |
We have Christians hog-tying God and anti-creation, anti-God godless who think nothing creates anything and that’s science!
No wonder God flooded the earth; He has to put up with ungrateful no-it-all imbeciles!
The latest creation versus science debate brought out two idiots who think they know more than God.
Creationist
Ken Ham, the Christian world’s leading moron when it comes to
explaining creation, because Ham limits God and His creation of the
earth to only 6000 years, and the Global Warming/Climate Change junk
scientist Bill Nye the Science Guy who limits mankind to monkeys and
swamp matter. Both men need to shut up and get an education and learn
how to read the Bible if they are going to argue creation and Genesis.
Understanding
the Bible means spending our entire lives studying the Bible and still
never fully knowing the answers to everything we are reading.
When
reading the Bible we need to understand Moses and the Apostles did not
speak or write in English: Moses wrote in Hebrew and the Apostles in
ancient Greek. Jesus spoke ancient Aramaic. The Western World translated
the scrolls into English and European languages where Hebrew and Greek
words have completely different meanings.
As to the 6000 years: DNA testing traces human 6000 years to two parents. That would place Adam and Eve outside the garden,
not inside the garden where they may have lived thousands, perhaps a
million years before they gave into temptation and caused the fall of
man and were tossed out of the garden.
We will never find the Garden to test the actual age of man since God barred man for the garden.
But
this is the problem with many Christians who love to limit God by
placing our minds inside of God’s infinite all-knowing mind we cannot
know because, “For who among men knows
the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even
so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God (1 2:11
Corinthians),” and “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor? (Romans 11:34)?”
Understanding
God is impossible. We will never fully comprehend Him, even when we are
with Him, because we will never be God: “Oh, the depth of the riches of
the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and
his paths beyond tracing out (Romans 11:33)!”
Genesis
tells us God created the heavens and earth and on the seventh day He
rested. How long is seven days to God? Nowhere in Genesis does it say a
day for God ads up to 24 hours our time, but scholars have been debating
this question for centuries. Some insist seven creation days are 24
hour days, while others believe creation days are time periods.
Maybe we should stop making up God’s mind for Him, unless we think God is as little as us.
We
humans are not gods, though we think we are, and we do not know the
mind of God even though we constantly assume we do by placing time
limits on God: “Do you listen in on God’s council? Do you have a
monopoly on wisdom? (Job 15:8),” and “The
secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed
belong to us and to our sons forever, that we may observe all the words
of this law (Deuteronomy 29:29).”
Trying to do God’s thinking for Him is pretty cheeky, even for us Christians who are supposed to know better than to one-up God.
How
long is a day to God? He never told us, but we are given unlimited
opportunity to search and study God and the earth, we have been given a
book of God and His creation that contains world history to study all
the days of our lives, constantly discovering new things about our
history, why we are the way we are, and God’s endless love that gave His
life for us.
In
the Bible we read of God forming and shaping the physical earth, God
creating every type of plant, vegetation, grass and we read of all of
this growing: “And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is
in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good (Gen.
1:12).” How long did all of this grow before God gave the earth light
for day and moon and star light for night? How long before he created
sea and earth creatures? How long was this day? We are not told the
hourly time span of God’s days.
We
humans have a terrible habit of placing time limits on God. When we do
this we are shaping God’s destiny for Him, as the Gap Theorists do when
they insist a catastrophic event happened (Lucifer’s rebellion and war
with Michael the Arc Angel throwing him and a third of heaven out) and
God had to start over. That says God cannot control his own destiny,
He’s too weak, He’s like us and if at first He does not succeed, He must
try, try again.
Again, we are trying to control God with our limited power. Oh boy we of little faith!
Others
say if it rained 40 days and 40 nights, and Jesus was in the grave
three days before He rose from the dead, then 6000 years is the exact
time for the earth’s age. But the flood occurred after the Garden’s
perfection, after man rebelled and was living in a limited life on
earth.
When
Adam and Eve lived in the garden they lived under perfection and
eternal life on earth. When they listened to Satan, they rebelled and
eternity on earth stopped and decay began within us and the earth. Death
began; our time became limited on earth.
God caused that flood to happen in our limited time span, not in perfection’s unlimited time.
Jesus’
burial was also in our limited earthly time span, not perfection or
Christ would not have had to come to die and resurrect so we could have
eternal life in heaven after we die of our limited life here on earth.
If Christ was in an unlimited burial, He might still be in the grave and we would have destroyed everything by now.
We
are looking at God’s creation and God from our limited mindset. God is
bigger than us and everything He does is far more powerful and His time
is limitless. If it wasn’t, the earth would have rotted away by now like
old cloths in a closet.
Creation is not our time span, it is God’s.
