A growing list of legislators from 27 states (and counting) that have all agreed to work
on sponsoring or co-sponsoring bills calling for a "Convention of the States,"
under Article V of the U.S. Constitution; in essence this is the list of states and legislators
whom come 2014 are willing to open the pandora's box of setting the stage for a Con-Con,
regardless of whether that is their initial intention or not.
The Con Con
Legislators who are promoters of an Article V Amendments Convention are listed ...

A convention to amend the
Constitution: 2014 vs. 1787.
Think of the differences in the country, in the people and the leaders. Think of the influence of the media and political establishment, the cronyism,
the Federal Reserve, and the "47% dependent on government." What would they do to our Constitution if given the opportunity? One current
proposal calls for "repeal or modification of the Second Amendment to strengthen firearms restrictions," among other attacks on the document
that has guaranteed our rights for more than two centuries.
This represents the BIGGEST threat to our freedom and prosperity today.
Please look at the legislators on the list below and share this with your team and others...

As
we approach the 2014 Session I'm
concerned more than ever that members of
the legislature will again sponsor a
resolution to apply to Congress
to convene an Article V Convention all the while assuring legislators that such a convention can be limited and will never result in the introduction
at the convention of a proposal for a new constitution. This link (below) is to an important, but lengthy, article in THE ATLANTIC that promotes
the idea that our constitution is outdated and needs to be replaced and should have been replaced often.

Nick Dranias from
the Goldwater Institute
who has spoken to a Utah legislative
committee, to an Arizona Legislative
committee, to an Idaho
Legislative committee, and to a Montana Legislative committee in the past to support an application to Congress for an Article V Convention is even
mentioned towards the end of the article as it promotes ideas for why our constitution should be rewritten and replaced. Please read the article
and share it with other Utah Legislators:

As
you can deduce from the article the
progressives, globalists, leftists and
even Revolutionary Communists are just
waiting and hoping for
the "conservatives" to convene the Article V Convention so they can pack the convention with their delegates and pack any
State Ratification Conventions with their delegates.

Proponents of an Article V Convention say there are no new constitutions that would be proposed as an amending document to our
Constitution the way the Articles of Confederation were amended out of power in 1787 by proposal of a new Constitution, but attached,
Senator Dayton, is one draft of a new constitution just waiting in the wings for a time that "conservatives" to convene the Article V Convention.
Please open the attachment to see what is awaiting our country if a convention is held. How many such constitutions are there?
Our
constitution hangs by a thread and the
convening of that Article V Convention
could be the thread that is cut.
Can we help our members to do outreach to legislators to help them to agree that real "conservatives" want to conserve
our constitution and the restore constitutional order? Feel free to forward this information to your volunteer leaders.

Nonsense. A true constitutionalist recognizes Article V was meant to be used. Read Federalist Nos. 43 and 85. States have the power to target and direct the convention under their reserved Tenth Amendment powers because nothing in Article V prohibits them from doing so. States can agree in advance to the rules, agenda and delegates to the convention. Visit www.compactforamerica.org to find out how.
