Dear Fellow Americans:

After weeks of dodging responsibility, Hillary Clinton finally caved to the pressure we and others have put on her and agreed to testify about Benghazi. But this doesn’t mean that the American people and especially the families of the fallen are guaranteed the answers we deserve. 

The Obama Administration and Hillary Clinton’s State Department have shown a unique willingness to distort, distract, and outright lie to protect their interests. Without taking immediate action to prevent them from hiding this testimony, they’ll keep right on doing it – even while testifying in front of Congress. Additionally the Department of State Accountability Review Board (ARB) Report has held no one accountable or indirectly responsible for actions and/or inactions that led to the horrific deaths of four of our citizens.

We have to do everything within our power to force them to televise Hillary’s testimony. That way, we can all stand up and loudly decry her efforts to distort the truth or avoid answering the hard questions.

If this administration is going to stand up in front of the American people for several weeks and make bald-faced lies, claiming that a video no one had ever seen caused the deaths of our people abroad – 

If they are going to block access to critical information about the attack that shows they declined to send potentially life-saving military backup –

If they are going to cover up heroic sacrifices by former Navy SEALs, letting their deaths fall by the wayside purely for political purposes – 

If they are going to use their cronies and the media to sidestep all criticism and to reinforce their lies – 

If they are going to ignore and “slow roll” this tragedy by letting time pass and hoping it just goes away -

Then why would Hillary Clinton or any member of the Obama Administration do anything different behind the closed doors of a Congressional hearing? 

And how could anybody possibly believe that they would suddenly stop lying?

We’ve seen time and again that Barack Obama and his ilk have zero respect for the American people, zero respect for Congress, and zero respect for the truth. Everyone should know by now that any attempt to get them to come clean without We the People loudly demanding it and holding their feet to the fire is the ultimate exercise in futility.

That’s why we at Special Operations Speaks are demanding that Hillary’s testimony be televised so that we can see for ourselves exactly what excuses she makes and what details she tries to gloss over and what lies she tells.

A lot of people have made noise about how her apparent concussion and blood clot issue have prevented her from testifying. We would never disparage someone’s health issues, but the timing was quite convenient in allowing her to avoid going in front of Congress on Benghazi up until this point. 

Now that she’s got a clean bill of health, truth-seeking patriots need to refocus on getting the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth – and that will never come without forced transparency.

We’re putting pressure on conservatives in Congress – both directly and through the media – to take on this Administration for their lies and undisclosed information about events surrounding the tragedy Benghazi. But we can only go so far without the loud voices of people across this country demanding real action. We need you standing alongside us and accepting no answer except complete open access to Hillary’s testimony.

Will you be one of those patriots? Will you do everything in your power to make sure that our people who died abroad and their families – as well as the rest of the American people – finally get the answers the Obama Administration has been hiding for so long? 

If you’re willing to make a stand, the best thing you can do is get every other person in your sphere of influence on board with this effort, too. Each phone call, letter, email, tweet, and Facebook post is one more nudge in the right direction for our representatives in Congress. And every unique person behind those actions make them that much more powerful.
