OBAMA BLOCKING 85,000 NEW JOBS
Thousands of Americans are about to lose the part time, temporary Christmas jobs they picked up just to make ends meet. Our unemployment rosters are bursting at the seams. Out on the endless campaign trail, Barack Obama keeps making a big noise about his "jobs" plan, a pig-in-a-poke proposal full of crony pay back yet few if any actual jobs. But Obama REFUSES to do the one thing that could instantly revive the economies of multiple states and make the cost of gas, plastics and petroleum-based products cheaper for all Americans.
All Barack Obama needs to do is APPROVE THE KEYSTONE OIL PROJECT.
AMERICA IS WAITING
CANADA IS WAITING
AND YES, EVEN THE CHINESE ARE WAITING – Because if Obama does not stop pandering to extreme environmentalists and act in the national interest soon, the Canadian government has announced that they will abandon the pipeline project and sell their oil to the Chinese instead of to America!
The Keystone Pipeline project offers America
- 85,000 jobs
- $71 billion in wages
- Cheaper gas and
- Reduces our dependence on terror oil
But Barack Obama wants to give that oil and its benefits to the Chinese.
The Canadians have announced that they will no longer wait on Barack Obama's coy little political shell game. If Obama does not make a decision on the Keystone Oil Pipeline project NOW, Canada will instead sell their oil to the next highest bidder – China. And America will lose not only much-needed oil, but also the single most important economy boost of the decade.
Multiple studies show that the Keystone Pipeline project will not simply reduce our dependence on oil from Middle East Arab terror states. It will immediately create 85,000 good paying labor jobs, from Wyoming to Louisiana, producing $71 billion in total wages, and will boost the American economy by $149 billion. Best of all, the project is privately funded. That's right – no big government taxpayer funded boondoggles here, the Keystone Pipeline project is entirely privately funded. Is that what Obama hates most about it?
So Barack Obama will not act on the deal. Apparently, keeping energy industry "development" the exclusive domain of crony-ridden, green-scam scandal-deals, and appeasing radical environmentalists are more important objectives to this Administration than providing jobs to the tens of thousands of unemployed American workers suffering through the worst Depression in 80 years who could be BACK TO WORK TOMORROW, if Obama would stop the corruption, and follow the original approval findings of even his own Administration.
The Keystone XL Oil Pipeline is designed to increase the supply and availability of Canadian oil in America. Construction of the expanded pipeline alone will create an estimated 20,000 construction jobs, 65,000 affiliated jobs, and pour hundreds of millions of dollars into local economies.
As an added bonus, the pipeline will also reduce the cost of oil and gas in America, because it comes from a stable and friendly neighbor as opposed to radical and unstable Middle Eastern governments bent on destroying the West by breaking the wealth backbone of America.
But under pressure from energy industry cronies, and extreme leftwing constituency and radical environmental groups, Obama reversed his own Administration's approval of the project, and has stalled it until after the 2012 general election.
The environmentalists of Nebraska have approved the project. Even Obama's own State Department has approved the project! But Obama pulled the plug – postponing the decision until after the 2012 election even though the Prime Minister of Canada has unequivocally stated that failure to answer NOW will end the pipeline project once and for all for the United States. Canada, it turns out, is not interested in waiting out Obama's coy political games. They have a product to sell, and if we won't buy, then they will take their offerings to the next highest bidder – in this case China. If Barack Obama fails to act now, the Canadians will cancel the Keystone Pipeline project and instead load their oil aboard tankers destined for China.
Barack Obama can give cute, duplicitous speeches about job bills all he wants. But the truth is, NONE of his schemes have resulted in job growth. Rather, the Obama Administration has slaughtered the economy and the pocketbooks of the American worker.
The Keystone Pipeline project can change that.
- 85,000 jobs
- $71 billion in wages
- Cheaper, more reliable gas
