Senate Needs to Stop Playing Games |
Conservatives, You've probably heard the pundits rambling about the payroll tax rates for weeks now. Instead of fundamentally reforming our tax code, Congress has decided to set rates one year at a time. But on Saturday, the Senate decided even that was too long, opting for a two month extension. Then they left town with no plans to return until January 23rd.We, along with House Republicans, think this is ridiculous. On our website, we provide a quick 'lay of the land', along with a discussion of what should be done. >;> Read more on the payroll tax at heritageaction.com. We will continue pushing Congress to make the right choice. Thanks for standing with us. Sincerely, ![]() Michael A. Needham Chief Executive Officer Heritage Action for America |
