Dear Conservatives,
Nevada will once again be at the center of the Presidential election process being the third earliest caucus state in 2012. Caucuses are a very involved process and I wanted to extend to you the opportunity to participate in an informal, non-partisan training event at the C.O.R.E Nevada offices to learn more about this process. Please see the details below and remember that our early caucus date is fast approaching, February 18, 2012.
Please attend the Clark County Caucus procedure meeting
When: Wednesday August 17th 6:00-7:30 pm at C.O.R.E.
Where: Cheyenne Commerce Center, 730 W Cheyenne Ave, Suite 140, North Las Vegas, NV 89030
Who: Steve Esh, will give a basic overview of the caucus process and caucus site positions, review the new rules and procedures.
Positions Neded in Each Political Party:
Site Manager: Responsible for overall conduct of site operations, ensures proper setup, assignment of personnel and resources, liaison to site facilities personnel, final arbiter of conflicts. Ensures each precinct has necessary forms and is responsible for returning collated forms to district office at close of caucus operations.
Assistant site manager: Performs such organizational tasks as delegated by Manager.
Service tables personnel: conflict resolution, cash handling, records checking and collating. Set out precinct packets box each session
Ushers: Notify and check for voter ID, send voters to appropriate locations, run forms as needed to precinct groups.
Caucus Chairs: Obtain precinct packet, check in precinct voters, conduct meeting, ensure delegates turn in forms and fees, debrief at chair table.
Chairs, ushers and table personnel may rotate jobs and serve as runners.
