Government agencies are giving honest, hard-working Americans the shake-down while they allow dangerous security breaches to skirt by.
In fact, while Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents are spending their time patting down 6-year-old kids and 95-year-old senior citizens, they're waving through more than 25,000 threats to our nation's security, one of which was a Nigerian man who flew from New York to Los Angeles with a stolen ID and ten stolen boarding passes!
It's abundantly clear that the government is using its power to take away our freedoms and liberty in an effort to control our lives, while they ignore the real threats to our society.
The dismantling of our Fourth Amendment protections by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), TSA agents, the U.S. Supreme Court and even our own local law enforcement authorities has led to the stripping down of a 95-year-old leukemia patient and young children by TSA agents, and has led to the killing of an innocent Iraq War veteran by local police.
We've allowed this to go on long enough, and we must demand that every member of Congress take action and stop the government from usurping our rights in the name of security.

We must remember that if we cannot save our Fourth Amendment, then we will no longer have a First or Second Amendment, either! This means that you will no longer have the right to keep firearms in your home for protection, nor will you have the right to assemble and speak your mind, or petition the government---ALL OF THESE RIGHTS WILL BE GONE!
The purpose of the Fourth Amendment is to protect citizens' privacy and property rights.
But unfortunately, every week we learn about new ways in which the government is stripping Americans of their Fourth Amendment protections.
"It's something I couldn't imagine happening on American soil," said Jean Weber, the daughter of the 95-year-old leukemia patient and airline passenger who was forced to remove her Depends adult diaper and was detained for one hour by TSA agents at a Florida airport.
Incidents like this one are commonplace because too many Americans are allowing the government to usurp their freedoms and their rights that are protected under the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
Allowing the removal of one right will only empower the government to take away another right...and another freedom we cherish!

"You're missing the boat on terrorism because you're doing these invasive searches on 6-year-old girls," said Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), to John Pistole, the administrator of the TSA at the DHS, during the June 22 Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing on invasive TSA searches.
"It makes me think you're clueless, if you think she [a 6-year-old child] is going to attack our country and you're not doing your research on the people who want to attack our country," Sen. Paul added.
"The hijackers who came here were over-staying their welcome and were on student-visas but were not going to school. We need to be doing better police work and doing less of the universal giving up of our freedom to live our life the way we would like to live our life."
We cannot continue to allow the majority of our elected representatives to look the other way while the government tramples on our Fourth Amendment protections.
The government's encroachment on our rights will continue as long as we fail to act!
Did you know that right now SWAT teams have the right to invade your home without probable cause? And, if you dare to protect your home and your family from an intruder, not knowing that the "intruder" is law enforcement, then you could be shot and killed if you are armed.
Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened to Jose Guereña, a young Marine and Iraq War veteran who was killed by a SWAT team that invaded his home and fired 71 bullets -- 22 penetrating Guereña's body -- all because his brother, who did not live with him, was suspected of drug trafficking. Jose Guereña had a clean record and police never found anything suspicious in his home. Now, his young wife is left to raise their child as a single parent.
If Jose Guereña's story is an example of what the police can do with a warrant, just imagine what will happen to you and your family when police enter your home without one!
After all, The U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in Kentucky v. King has effectively revoked YOUR Fourth Amendment rights-a decision that gives police the authority to stage a search and seizure of your property without obtaining a warrant from a judge.
If you believe in protecting the property rights and freedoms of law-abiding citizens, then you must continue to POUND CONGRESS until they pass a law that will supersede the U.S. Supreme Court's decision and ensure that our Fourth Amendment rights are protected!
In Kentucky v. King, the Fourth Amendment violation occurred when police officers invaded the wrong home during a search for a suspect. After busting through the wrong door, police found illegal drugs in the home, which they discovered by error, and without first obtaining a search warrant from a judge.
What this means for you, and your law-abiding friends and family members, is that the U.S. Supreme Court's decision has effectively stripped every citizen of their Fourth Amendment protections!
The Fourth Amendment was written to protect us from police excess and police mistakes. The warrant requirement ranks among the fundamental distinctions between our form of government - where officers areunder the law - and the police-state, where they are the law.
"Most Americans would agree that requiring third-party judicial oversight is what protects all of us from living in a police state, where those doing the arresting are answerable only to themselves," Sen. Paul said.
The Supreme Court's decision has opened the door to allow a nation-wide abuse of power, and there is nothing that we can do - ONLY CONGRESS CAN TAKE ACTION!
By enabling police to circumvent the Fourth Amendment, and a judge's authorization before searching a property, Americans are no longer protected against unwarranted search and seizure!
Recently, an Indiana resident asked his fellow readers of the IndyStar this question: "When was the Fourth Amendment repealed, and why don't I hear an outcry from my fellow citizens?" - A valid question after two frightening Supreme Court decisions - the U.S. Supreme Court and the Indiana Supreme Court - both giving police the right to enter citizens' private property to conduct warrantless searches and seizures.
The "government has denied property and privacy rights in deference to making the job of the police easier,"Judge Andrew Napolitano said on Fox News.
In the Indiana case, Barnes v. State of Indiana, the State Supreme Court ruled that police can enter a resident's private property at any time - without a warrant, without suspicion, without reason - and without knocking and announcing their presence!
"The common law right to resist a police officer illegally entering a home no longer exists," said Justice Steven David about the Indiana Court's inane ruling.
