That's right! This sham deal smacks of appeasement and business as usual. It has been roundly denounced by stalwart Reps. Michele Bachmann, Steve King, Mike Pence and many other strong Conservatives not afraid to denounce Boehner foisting a pig in a poke on We the People. YOU need to make sure the SENATE and BOEHNER and his GOP majority HEAR FROM YOU about what REALLY MATTERS in Congress — does America need more sham deals, or REAL fiscal responsibility and deficit reduction?
Reviewing the Obama budget proposals, even the New York Times admits, "The Budget confirms that Mr. Obama is not taking the lead in embracing the kind of far-reaching deficit-reduction plan recommended in December by a bipartisan majority of his own fiscal commission."
Barack Obama and his Socialist-Democrat cronies are still on a cynical spending spree to ruin America. They could have passed a 2011 budget when they had complete control of both houses of Congress. They didn't need one single Republican vote to do so, but they deliberately chose to avoid the responsibility and accountability of presenting a budget, because their spending was laden with pork that they knew the American people would furiously reject.As much as Boehner and the GOP Establishment want to keep the Federal government running full tilt, YOUR faxes and calls are working! Boehner is captive to the Washington culture of deal-making and irresponsible deficit spending BUT he also knows that he CANNOT BE SEEN AS A BIG IRRESPONSIBLE SPENDER. Boehner knows that it must APPEAR the spending spree is OVER and compromise is OFF THE TABLE, or he is out of a job and the Republicans are looking at votes of NO CONFIDENCE by those who put them in office!
But sham deals are just business as usual and will ruin us. GOP leadership needs to confront reality. Boehner said of the 2011 bad budget deal, "The House will not be put in a box and forced to choose between two options that are bad for the country" — woefully inadequate spending cuts or a Federal government shutdown. So he is offering inadequate, fake cuts trying to look like a deficit hawk, playing fool the voter but doing the same old big-spending deals.The debt numbers are DEVASTATING, yet Boehner is willing to work only with the options Obama offers. How about telling the American People the truth? This means we must force the GOP Establishment to stand and fight on the 2011 final budget votes, INCLUDING THE NOW SYMBOLIC SENATE VOTES ON PLANNED PARENTHOOD AND OBAMACARE FUNDING. WE MUST STILL DEFY OBAMACARE AND PLANNED PARENTHOOD, AND DARE THE DEMOCRATS TO SHUT DOWN THE GOVERNMENT! It will NOT STOP SOCIAL SECURITY, MEDICARE OR MILITARY CHECKS. And it will NOT harm our capable and resilient American People. Otherwise, the hemorrhaging persists apace, until our nation fiscally bleeds to death. Otherwise, Democrats WILL CONTINUE to fund ObamaCare … and NPR … and Planned Parenthood … and Cowboy Poetry Festivals. The Republicans MUST stand strong against this deranged fecklessness and they need to hear from YOU! Every Member of Congress needs to know that if he ignores the Will of the People and continues spending our country into oblivion, he WILL LOSE HIS JOB.
A recent Government Accountability Office (GAO) report identifies 34 areas of redundant or duplicate Federal programs operating across agencies and bureaucracies that need to be cut, and 47 other areas where $200 Billion could easily be saved.
CONGRESS HAS NOT MADE THESE CUTS BECAUSE DEMOCRATS AND RINOS WANT TO CONTINUE POLITICAL BUSINESS AS USUAL — IMPERILING AMERICA'S FUTURE!
Democrats in Congress are angling for a partial government shutdown as a vulgar strategy of class warfare, hoping for backlash by affected groups that will blame the Tea Party and Republicans in Congress. Democrats, as usual, are putting partisan politics ahead of the financial solvency, and possibly the very survival, of the nation.But ALL of Congress, Republicans AND Democrats have for years been childishly kicking the debt and deficit spending can down the road. Putting off paying the piper until tomorrow does not alter the fact that the piper will eventually need to be paid. And the longer we wait, the more costly in every way his bill will be. Congress MUST stop deferring the hard decisions to their successors and hopelessly burdening future generations, and instead MUST address Washington's deadly compulsive spending habits head on. THE DEBT CEILING MUST NOT BE RAISED and THE PROFLIGATE SPENDING MUST STOP NOW! Not in 2021 as the GOP budget proposes, not in 2040 as the Democrats propose, but NOW in 2011 while America can still be saved from the mountain of cumulative debt poised to crush us. This day of reckoning is upon us, and We the People must not shirk its obligations. The Congress serves us — let us make it so.
