| Pastor Conservatives - I'm Amanda Makki. I'm a proud, America First Conservative running for the 13th Congressional District in Florida. My family legally immigrated to the United States when I was an infant to escape the persecution of an oppressive regime in Iran. My parents scraped together whatever resource they could to immigrate to the land of opportunity.  While my father studied to become a surgeon in the U.S., my mother delivered Yellow Pages and was a nanny to support our family. I witnessed my parents work hard to make their American dream come true. They are the inspiration for everything I do. A few weeks after September 11, 2001, I went to work in the Army General Counsel's office in the Pentagon. As a native Farsi speaker, I knew I had to do whatever I could to protect my adopted country. From there, I went to work fighting against Obamacare as a Republican Healthcare Advisor in both the House and the Senate. And in 2020, I stood up to the Democrat lawyers who tried to have ballots mail-in ballots counted that we know shouldn’t have been! I love this country, and I have spent my career standing up for the values and principles laid out in the Constitution. That's why I've decided to run for Congress in Florida. I experienced the American Dream firsthand, and I'm sickened by now the Leftists in Washington are trying to destroy it. My RINO opponent was an “avid” two-time Obama supporter. There's no telling who she'll side with if Florida elects her to the House. RINO's and Democrats want to turn our beautiful nation into their socialist dreamland. My family didn't sacrifice everything and leave Iran to live in a country where we could be persecuted for our thoughts and canceled for not agreeing with the Woke. The reality is that this election could be our last chance to save this nation from the Left's destruction. I have fought for this American dream.
