REFOUNDERS = CONSERVATIVES THAT SUPPORT U.S. CONSTITUTION
Two and a half centuries ago our divinely inspired forefathers drafted a document that would provide the framework for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Their words would be brought to life at a great sacrifice. Although tears of sadness would be shed for the great loss of life, tears of joy would ultimately follow because they could now, reach their hands into the soil and say, "This does not belong to a distant king, this belongs to me." We must remember that even though the dawn of a "New America" was in the making, that it did not come without fierce opposition from all sides of the aisle.
One can't help but wonder how many long nights Washington, Adams, Jefferson and our other founders spent on their knees, pleading for a answer that would work best for the people. They were eventually given their answer when our Constitution was written in heaven and thanks to this body of trustworthy and principled men, they were given the rights to publish it here. Even though it could rightly be called a answer to the prayers of many, opposition still existed, as it always does, because where there is light, darkness is not trailing far behind.

Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) wants an investigation of Homeland Security officials who lied about screening for illegal immigrants in local jails.
The controversy revolves around the Secure Communities program which has been criticized for catching many illegal immigrant who were arrested but never charged or committed minor offenses – in addition to being illegally present in the U.S.
Despite the Secure Communities program being mandatory, and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and Assistant Attorney General Ronald Weich being fully aware that the program was mandatory, both of these officials have stated that cities could opt out of participating in it if they wished to do so. Sec. Napolitano and Asst. Attorney General Weich have yet to correct their statements about whether or not cities have the option to participate or not.
Intentional disregard of immigration law and policy such as this are responsible for allowing sanctuary cities to continue harboring and supporting illegal immigrants.

On May 18th Michael will ‘celebrate’ his 28th birthday behind bars. We use the word loosely of course because in prison there is no cake and candles and certainly no parties. This will be Michael’s third birthday at the prison in Ft. Leavenworth since he was convicted of killing a known terrorist in self-defense. Though his spirits remain high, life in prison takes its toll on even the strongest of men and that includes our Michael who waits patiently for a decision on his appeal.
The truth is we really don’t know when such a decision will be handed down. Michael's appeal was filed in December 2009, the government responded in July 2010, and the argument before the Army Court of Appeals occurred in December 2010. We have heard nothing since. Michael's remarkable attitude remains upbeat even in the face of these long delays. We credit his impressive resolve to the many supporters who have not left him behind and continually remind him of their support through letters, cards, books and magazine subscriptions.

IMF CHIEF CHARGED!
I had forwarded a report just today that suspected rapist Strauss-Kahn, head of the International Monetary Fund, would probably go Scott free.
It turns out he is in police custody and some are predicting the charges will stick.
Strauss-Kahn was expected to easily defeat Sarkozy in the upcoming presidential elections.
That will almost certainly change. Instead, the criminal who launched illegal air attacks in Libya will no doubt the defeat the other criminal Strauss-Kahn (sorry, couldn't resist saying that). Doesn't France have any non-criminals to run for president?
