Ivy-league university faces investigation over 'racism'
Posted by WND Staff
Not long ago, the president of a major ivy-league university wrote a nearly 1,800-word treatise on the "systemic racism" at the school and how much damage has resulted.

Now, he's under investigation by the feds for "systemic racism" at the school.

The problem is that it's illegal for schools with such components in their curricula and programs to get federal money. Oops ... Read more…

In Case You Missed It!

U.S. Sen. Rick Scott Stands With Law Enforcement

Senator Rick Scott is committed to supporting and defending the honor of our brave men and women in uniform.

Yesterday, Senator Rick Scott spoke on the Senate floor expressing his support for America’s law enforcement community and condemning the recent riots and violence against law enforcement across our country. Senator Rick Scott also introduced a resolution honoring America’s law enforcement community, which was blocked by Senate Democrats.

Sen. Rick Scott in Fox News: I Am Mad and Will Not Let Rioters Tear Down This Country

In case you missed it, Senator Rick Scott wrote an op-ed for Fox News condemning the recent riots and violence against law enforcement across our country, and committing to fight for the American values that make this nation great.

In the op-ed, Senator Rick Scott wrote, “I am mad when I hear rioters chant “we hope they die” after two law enforcement officers were ambushed and shot in Los Angeles last weekend. I want all communities to be safe. Defunding the police will not make a single community safer. It is a ludicrous proposal. I am mad and my plan is to fight to save our country. There is no Plan B. There is no place to move to. We all have a responsibility to do our part to preserve what Reagan called ‘this last and greatest bastion of freedom.'"

Legislation Alert!

Last week, Senator Rick Scott was proud to cosponsor the Holding Rioters Accountable Act of 2020 (S.4424). This bill would withhold a percentage of federal funding from state and local prosecutors who fail to faithfully prosecute crimes related to protests and riots. It has been referred to the Senate Judiciary committee for review.

Today, Senator Rick Scott joined Senator Thom Tillis and colleagues in introducing the Protect and Serve Act, which would create federal penalties for individuals who deliberately target local, state, or federal law enforcement officers with violence.

Senator Rick Scott said, “It is disgusting to see our law enforcement officers become targets of violence, harassment and abuse. Law enforcement officers are not the enemy - these selfless individuals are true heroes who put their lives on the line every day to protect our communities. We can’t accept these acts of violence, and I’m proud to join my colleagues in this legislation to hold individuals accountable for targeting our men and women in uniform."

Heritage Action’s Police Pledge

Last month, Senator Rick Scott signed Heritage Action’s Police Pledge to show his unwavering support for America’s law enforcement as the radical Left continues to push efforts to defund the police.

Senator Rick Scott said, “Law enforcement officers across America risk their lives every day to keep people safe. As Governor, and now as Senator, I will always do everything I can to support our brave men and women in uniform. Stripping our law enforcement of the resources necessary to protect our communities would do nothing to keep Americans safe. In fact, this would endanger our communities more. I won’t let the radical Left use the crimes of a few bad actors to demonize good, hard-working police officers. We must stand up for those fighting every day for our safety."

22 Reasons Jews Should Vote for President Trump

1)    Trump denounced antisemitism in two State of the Union addresses.

2)    He moved the American Embassy to Israel from Tel Aviv to Israel’s eternal capital of Jerusalem.  In solidarity with the U.S. decision, Guatemala moved its embassy to Jerusalem and Honduras, Paraguay, Moldova, Czechia, Romania and Hungary announced that they may soon follow suit.

3)    Trump declared support for Israeli construction in Judea and Samaria.

4)    He recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights, a major strategic asset that protects Israel from aggression from the northeast, and signed the document with Netanyahu at his side right before Israeli elections.

5)    Trump increased U.S. military aid to Israel and offered a mutual defense treaty between the U.S. and Israel to further the alliance between the two countries.

6)    He defunded the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), a so-called relief agency for Arab-Palestinians marked by corruption that has incited against Israel and worked with Hamas, even enabling the building of terror tunnels under its buildings.

7)    President Trump pulled out of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in protest of its bias against Israel and its extension of membership to notorious human rights abusers.

8)    He withdrew from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) citing its anti-Israel bias after it designated Hebron and the Tomb of the Patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Sarah, Rebecca and Leah) as Arab-Palestinian world heritage sites. (Jews have had a 3800 year presence in Hebron, which is situated in Judea – “the land of the Jews.”)

9)    Trump appointed staunch Israel defenders, Nikki Haley and Kelly Craft, to the U.N.

10) He ended the nuclear appeasement of Iran canceling Obama’s Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) or the “Obama Bomb Deal.”

11) Trump recognized Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist group.

12) He celebrated Hanukah at the White House and was the first sitting president to visit and pray at the Western Wall in Jerusalem.

13)  Trump postponed the announcement of his Israel/Arab-Palestinian plan until after the elections in Israel.

14) At the Holocaust Museum on the Day of Remembrance, Trump said, “As president of the United States, I will always stand with the Jewish people and the State of Israel.  We will confront antisemitism on university campuses, in public places and threats to Israel.  Antisemitism is horrible and it has to stop.  The State of Israel is an eternal monument to the undying strength of the Jewish people.”

15) Trump signed the Taylor Force Act that ended U.S. aid to the Palestinian Authority as long as it continues to pay stipends to Palestinian terrorists or their families.

16)  He criticized Congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib for their hostility toward Israel.

17) President Trump brokered the peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, normalizing relations between the two countries and laying a foundation for peace in the Middle East.

18) He is responsible for establishing economic ties between Israel and Serbia and Kosovo, two Balkan countries who may move their embassies to Jerusalem.

19) Trump established formal peaceful relations between Bahrain and Israel.  Other countries that may follow include Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Morocco and Kosovo.

20) He signed an Executive Order to combat antisemitism on college campuses and threatened to cut off funds to schools that don’t curb discrimination against Jewish students.  In essence, Trump’s order is designed to target the nefarious BDS movement.  Further, Trump’s administration adopted the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s definition of antisemitism, which specifically includes both traditional antisemitic tropes and anti-Israeli elements such as dehumanizing and demonizing Israel, blaming all Jews for the actions of Israel and seeking the destruction of the Jewish State with BDS tactics.

21) Under Trump, the first direct flights between Israel and Saudi Arabia and Israel and Sudan were established.

22) Trump ordered the closure of the PLO mission in Washington, D.C. when Arab-Palestinians said they planned to target Israel at the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The Democrats won’t recognize or challenge antisemitism in their party as this removes the option of criticizing Trump for antisemitism and alienates its powerful far Left wing, especially “The Squad” and its acolytes.

Jews on the Left fail to view BDS, the Hamas-inspired movement to destroy the only Jewish state, as a form of Jew hatred. Left-wing Jewish organizations such as the ADL are trying to stop efforts to outlaw BDS. The ADL issued the Mayors Compact to Combat Hate, Extremism and Bigotry,” which does NOT mention antisemitism or Islamic terrorism (despite the fact that Jews are the victims of the majority – 60% – of religious hate crimes in the U.S. (15% for Muslims) according to FBI reports.
