It was quite an experience to see people, who credit Democrats for every job created and every percentage gain in economic growth, suddenly argue that the White House is totally powerless in this economic crisis.
While presidents are often given too much credit and/or blame for our fortunes they can also exacerbate existing problems. They have been made worse by the unbridled spending of our political class and their support for policies that discourage work and hinder energy production.

One day in the not to distant future, an elderly gentleman named John was sitting at home in his favorite chair appearing a little distraught. He had felt this way for years especially around this time of year. He tried to understand why God let him live so long. Sometimes he wishes he had not reached this age for it broke his heart to see what has happened to his country and the world around him. John has seen the world change many times during his lifetime, some good, and some bad.

Today as I write—over 1 million illegal Central Americans are making their way from the gateway, Panama, entering Costa Rica and headed directly for the U.S. via Mexico. Not noted are the illegal Africans, Chinese, Europeans, Marshallese, Mexicans, Mideasterners, Phillipinos, and numerous others.
