Which 46 Senators Voted to Destroy Us?

We came four votes away from the U.S. Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations.

In a 53-46 vote, the Senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.

The Statement of Purpose from the Bill reads:

"To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty."

The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration,

would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms.

The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S.

and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo.

Astonishingly, 46 out of our 100 United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.

Here are the 46 senators who voted to give your rights to the U.N.

As you know, back in August, I urged Campaign for Liberty members to send the House and Senate a clear message:
Do not support any Continuing Resolution (CR) that ensures tax dollars can keep flowing to the federal bureaucracy past September 30 if it does not fully DEFUND OBAMACARE!
Speaker John Boehner and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor want you to think they're listening to the grassroots, so they're planning to allow the House to vote to defund ObamaCare next week, and then vote separately on a CR. . .
Then, both bills will go to the Senate, where Harry Reid will make sure the bill defunding ObamaCare gets defeated and the big-spending CR gets passed.
And under the House leadership's proposals, once the CR passes the Senate, it can go straight to the President for his signature!

An Impaired Speech

The commander in chief addressed the nation last night regarding Syria. The address had been planned to bolster support for a military strike against Bashar al-Assad's regime for its alleged use of chemical weapons against rebel fighters. But, thanks to Secretary of State John Kerry's gaffe resulting in yesterday's Russian proposal to "secure" and dismantle Syria's weapons, Obama's address ended up merging two speeches -- one pleading for congressional authorization for an imminent attack and another asking Congress to delay its vote until a diplomatic solution plays out.
As former Ronald Reagan speechwriter Peggy Noonan wrote, "It was a time filler: The White House had asked for the time and had to fill it."

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush has zero respect for the four courageous Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, who lost their lives in a terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, one year ago tomorrow.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t be the one to honor former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with this year’s Liberty Medal from the National Constitution Center, today, on the eve of the first anniversary of the Benghazi terrorist attack.

What’s with the Philadelphia-based National Constitution Center allowing the Liberty Medal to be awarded to Clinton on the very eve of the day before she allowed Stevens, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty and Sean Smith to die with no help from the administration she was serving?
Where is the National Constitution Center’s on-the-books protocol?
It seems that everything that comes from the Obama administration has an added sting to human dignity.

Egypt’s Attorney General Hisham Barakat is looking into evidence that arrested Muslim Brotherhood leaders accepted bribes from the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, according to a report from Almesryoon, an Egyptian newspaper that cites a “judicial source”.

The trials that are scheduled to begin in Cairo on August 25th will feature a litany of charges against the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. Included among them are murders, assassinations, prison escapes, sniping, indiscriminate killing of demonstrators, and collaborating with foreign governments, to include both the United States and Qatar.

Evidence we have obtained lends credibility to the charges of “gifts” (bribes) being taken in U.S. dollars from the U.S. Embassy in Cairo” that were distributed to top ministerial level officials in the Mursi government.
