  • In Maryland, the imam of Al-Falaah Masjid preached in favor of theocratic Sharia Law, specifically the punishment of severing hands of those who thieve. He also taught that the “elite” is promoting hatred and racism in order to pressure American Jews into moving to Israel.
  • In Texas, a judge ordered a woman seeking to divorce her Muslim husband to handle the matter with an Islamic tribunal affiliated with the Islamic Association of North Texas.
