Police in Dallas have arrested illegal immigrant Angel Sanches, after he reportedly strangled his 5-year-old cousin to death and left her tiny body hanging inside a closet inside an abandoned unit.

Seventeen years ago today, the lives of 230 men, women and children were snuffed out and the lives of their families and friends were forever changed. At 8:31 p.m. ET on July 17, 1996, TWA Flight 800 fell from the sky in a sickening fireball of debris and human carnage, plunging into the Atlantic Ocean about 8 miles off the southern coast of Long Island, New York. It was only twelve minutes into its flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport en route to Rome, Italy, with a scheduled stopover in Paris when the flight, like the lives of those aboard, was abruptly and prematurely terminated.

The evening was clear and the weather calm as the large passenger plane climbed to 13,700 feet and was traveling parallel to Long Island. Many people were outside on patios, beaches, and boats enjoying this pleasant summer evening when the serenity of the approaching twilight was shattered by an explosion in the sky that was TWA Flight 800. Not only did they witness the explosion and events leading up to it, but they also bore witness to much more.

Benghazi-SpecOps Colonel George Bristol is Missing

by Maggie The U.S. House of Representatives' Benghazi investigation needs to talk with Marine Corps Colonel George Bristol who was in a key position in our Africa Command (AFRICOM) on September 11, 2012, the night of the attacks on our Benghazi "Special Mission." Bristol's AFRICOM superiors Rear Admiral Brian Losey (still on active duty) and General Carter Ham (now retired) have been questioned by the House, but Bristol is nowhere to be found. He is missing in retirement. CBS reporter, Sharyl Attkisson, indicates that the Defense Department, perhaps, is not allowing Bristol to testify, although that is not a clear point: Bristol, a martial arts master, was commander of Joint Special Operations Task Force-Trans Sahara based in Stuttgart, Germany until he retired last March. In an article in Stars and Stripes, Bristol is quoted at his retirement ceremony as telling his troops that "an evil" has descended on Africa, referring to Islamic militant groups. "It is on us to stomp it out." At the time of his retirement, Colonel Bristol was the Joint Special Operations Task Force-Trans Sahara Commander.

Yesterday, Rich Lowry at Politico wrote about “The Mystery Night” on September 11th, 2012 when the current US President disappeared for many hours and was seemingly unavailable…despite the fact that the first US Ambassador in 30 years had been murdered in the line of duty.  Lowry wonders where Barack Obama disappeared to that fateful night…and why White House aide Dan Pfeiffer insists it’s “irrelevant” where Obama was in those missing hours.
If you’ve ever known anyone who is a drug addict, you’d see it’s obvious that Barack Obama was high on cocaine the night of Benghazi; it is the only logical explanation for his disappearance and the White House’s refusal to comment on what he was doing at the time.  Since this was a night of great crisis for our country, the only logical reason that the White House won’t explain where the president was is if this man was high as a kite on illegal narcotics at the time.

State Department official Gregory Hicks revealed that U.S. Special Ops forces were told to stand down despite the fact that they were ready to go into Benghazi with time to save Ambassador Chris Stevens and his fellow diplomats. Hicks also revealed that he was instructed by Clinton's Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills not to cooperate with the investigation led by U.S. Rep. Chaffetz while in Libya.

OBAMA LIED AND 4 MEN DIED!

Let’s keep this nice and simple. Barack lied after people died in Benghazi. He looked the other way when they were crying out for help weeks, months before the attack. While Ambassador Stevens, State Department Information Officer Sean Smith, and Former Navy SEALS Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods were being brutally murdered by Islamist extremists, Obama made a decision that one would not expect the President of the United States to make in that moment.

He went to bed.

There was no staged picture in the Situation Room. There was no call for any and all help to save those men, even though there was help that could have arrived in time to make a difference. There was no doing whatever was necessary to keep those Americans safe.

These may have been supplied by the US but attempts by Congress to investigate have been thwarted by stonewalling and frequent changes in the government's accounts of the attack.

Under Operation Fast and Furious, Obama's ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives), part of Eric Holder's Department of Justice, sold firearms to known Mexican drug dealers under the pretext of tracking the weapons, which they promptly lost from view. These were assault weapons in many cases. One of these lost weapons turned up at the murder scene of border patrol agent Brian Terry and in the murder scenes of dozens of slain Mexicans:

Senator John McCain’s words from last week remain largely misrepresented by the media. Intent on bringing the truth to light in the deadly Benghazi terror attack that resulted in the murders of four Americans, McCain called for a Select Committee to probe the Libya disaster, saying...

“There is no credibility among most of us concerning the administration and the numerous controversies and contradictions that have been involved in their handling of this issue.”

The fact is, the Obama administration’s half-hearted attempt to get to the bottom of what is being called “Benghazi-gate” is simply not credible.  Rather, we are being fed a constant stream of misrepresentations and diversions.

So it is no surprise that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid put on an angry show in rejecting McCain’s request for the appointment of a Select Committee.

In a strongly worded letter, Reid reminded McCain that “the elections are over” and rebuked him for “trying to politicize” the murders of the four Americans including U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens.
