A professional asked to speak to me today about the fears being experienced by those with whom she is associated with as they see the changes occurring in our society, in our over-all culture, in our nation as a whole.
She discussed her employees fears, but most quietly she began to share her own. Fear of failure and not measuring up; fear that somehow God is annoyed with her and she is not measuring up to His standards. Slowly she began to hear herself and realized she was carrying much fear, and as a professional woman and long-time Christian, she was becoming more surprised by each passing day at her own fears.
May the attached article I wrote speak to you – every part of you. May you find comfort. May you find strength to address the monsters in your life. May you come to receive Shalom (peace).
