Two Ohio Abortion Facilities Fined for Multiple Violations of Patient Privacy

Items with patient identifying and private medical information that was illegally dumped last year.

Akron, OH – A Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Akron, Ohio, and an independent abortion facility owned by troubled abortionist David Burkons in Cuyahoga Falls, have been fined after the names and private health information of dozens of women were found illegally discarded on open dumpsters. The Northeast Ohio Women’s Center (NEOWC) was fined $7,500.00 and Planned Parenthood Bedford Heights was ordered to pay $5,000 by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) after it verified that patient identities, personal information, and private health data were being dumped in an unsecure manner. Woman Codes After Botched Abortion But Clinic Said She Was “Good to Go” Bellevue, NE – A 35-year-old woman who suffered a botched abortion at a facility in Bellevue, Nebraska, coded at least once at the Nebraska Medicine Main Campus in Omaha, Nebraska, and underwent four hours of emergency care. This was after the abortion facility where she was injured told 911 that the woman was “stable” and “good to go.” Continue reading and watch the video! (Corrected link)
