I have said for many decades that all political donations should be LIMITED!!!!!!! My position has always been that no one should be able to donate or contribute $$ to any political campaign unless that person (PERSON, not an organization) can cast a LEGAL VOTE for the candidate or issue. If you can't cast a VOTE then you can't BUY the position. This rule would also greatly REDUCE the cost of running for office. Imagine no more SOROS financed campaigns. A limit on the amount a person could donate would also be in effect. I still stand strong on that belief.
It goes along with the rule (LAW) of many decades back when foreigners (non-citizens) could not buy or own property in America - you had to be an American citizen. Somewhere along the line this law was changed but my searches for the original law or the changes along the way have not given me the dates I am looking for. With the huge foreign purchases of FARMLAND in America taking place right now this should be a huge concern to everyone. Not only farmland but other natural resources (oil - gas etc).
The universities have been taken over by foreign interests and teaching. Not to mention the many, many politicians and corporations that have sold out to foreign (CCP) operatives. The $$$ contents of the Foreign Trojan Horses continues to grow daily = thanks to the many human connections with those in Congress - (Swallwell/FANGFANG - Feinstein - McConnell - former Washington Gov Gary Locke and many many more who have married or employed (or slept with) foreigners. I wouldn't allow a pair of Nike's in my house. The Big Tech criminals are guilty of aiding and abetting the ENEMY - all for the love of the $$$$.
Now we have the FEC opening the doors for foreigners to BUY U.S. Ballot issues. In other words Americans no longer control issues related to American issues - it will be by the CCP.

FEC rules foreigners can donate to US ballot initiatives, report says

The Federal Election Commission has ruled that foreigners – whether people, governments, or corporations – can make donations to ballot initiatives in states that don’t otherwise outlaw the practice, according to a Tuesday report.
The 4-2 decision was made in July but has not yet been made public, according to Axios, which was the first outlet to report on the decision.
After its publication, FEC Commissioner Ellen L. Weintraub said Tuesday she had voted against the agency’s decision to allow foreign influence on ballots.
"I voted to protect our nation’s ballot initiatives from foreign influence, but my view did not prevail," Weintraub wrote on Twitter. "Ballot initiatives can reach deeply into the laws of a state or locality and directly rewrite both statutes and constitutions.
"They are vulnerable to manipulation and are deserving of no less protection from foreign influence than are our candidate elections."
