Dear Conservatives,

Before voting to defeat my bill to stop U.S. taxpayer handouts to Egypt, Libya, and Pakistan, one of my colleagues had the audacity to say he didn't care if my bill was backed by 90% of the American people. 

Well, some of my colleagues might not care what you think. 

But they DO care about their own re-elections.

If you've seen the images coming out of the Middle East over the past week, then you can feel in the pit of your stomach something is going dreadfully wrong. 

In Libya, four Americans were killed, and our U.S. Ambassador's lifeless body was dragged through streets to loud cheers. 

Now, violent Anti-American riots have broken out in nearly 20 countries. 

As far as I'm concerned, countries who simply look the other way while our embassies are attacked and our citizens are killed shouldn't get a penny more of your tax dollars. 

PERIOD. 

That's why, just last week, I introduced legislation to stop U.S. taxpayer handouts to Egypt, Libya, and Pakistan. 

And I'm prepared to use every procedural trick possible to force a vote - even if it means SHUTTING DOWN the Senate.
