The farther you get from a source of light, the dimmer the light becomes.  In fact there is a law in physics called the Inverse Square Law that says when you double the distance from a light source, the light is dimmed by 4 times.  The dawn of the bright "light" of freedom occurred some 221 years ago when the Constitution was ratified by the 13 colonies.  Four presidential terms later, after freedom's light was lit, according to the Inverse Square Law, freedom's light was 16 times dimmer.   But freedom's light started to grow dimmer even before the fourth presidential term.  The second president of the United States, John Adams, one of the drafters of the U. S. Constitution, passed the "Aliens and Sedition Act" that was so contrary to constitutional principles that Adams might just as well have set fire to the constitution right then and there.  When Jefferson became president he had the law repealed, but by then the cat was out of the bag and breaking the Constitution got just a little easier.

         Iconoclast H.L. Mencken may have been the orneriest curmudgeon ever to put acid-dipped pen to paper, but regarding Obama voters, his famous epigram – “Democracy is the theory that the common people know exactly what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard” – is so true it hurts (them and us).

         Massachusetts businessman “Battlin’ Bill” Barnstead was a perennial Republican offering against then-House Speaker Tip O’Neill. As crusty as Mencken – and certain that nothing he said or did could possibly alter the inevitability of O’Neill’s reelection every two years – Bill was contemptuous of the electorate he was expected to court.

         In one of his campaigns, Barnstead produced a brochure with a caricature of himself as Uncle Sam, pointing an accusing finger and asking voters in the Mass. 8th. Congressional District: “Are you ignorant or stupid?” 

THE FED PRINTING MONEY THAT IS VALUELESS

Since the Fed is an unelected totally unaccountable entity acting like a shape shifter--government now, private now--you and your government have no control over it.

It is now in the process of sucking the life blood out of our economy by implementing "quantitative easing," or issuing unbacked currency that adds zero value to the economy. Mario Draghi, his European counterpart, is doing likewise, perhaps naively believing that the world's 2 greatest economies are too big to fail.
