It's been a knock-down, drag-out battle to open the books on the royalty payments from third-party payors (think pharmaceutical companies) to National Institutes of Health (NIH) scientists, who are credited as co-inventors. In fact, the royalty payments haven't received oversight since 2005!   Today, we estimate that there's a $350 million royalty payment stream that has been HIDDEN by NIH.  Because these payments enrich NIH and its scientists, every payment could be a potential conflict of interest.   And, yes, NIH leadership are in the data and receiving the private royalties including Dr. Anthony Fauci, Francis Collins, and Clifford Lane.  Our investigation breaks new ground on Fauci's royalties and the $350 million largess that 1,675 NIH scientists received between FY2010 and FY2020. It's so sensitive that we had to sue NIH in federal court to get the production!
