66% OF SEVERE CASES IN ISRAEL OCCURRED IN THOSE DOUBLE-VAXXED

 Submitted by: Eduardo  Nunez

In contrast to early findings from the United Kingdom,5 approximately two thirds of the cases of severe Covid-19 in Israel during the study period occurred in persons who had received two doses of the BNT162b2 vaccine.

Two major differences exist between the studies. First, the current analysis used data from July 2021, a time when, for most of the Israeli population, at least 5 months had passed since receipt of their second dose of vaccine. The U.K. data were collected during the period of April through June 2021, with a much shorter time from vaccination to infection. Second, Israel has followed the original Pfizer–BioNTech protocol of administering the second dose 3 weeks (21 days) after the initial injection in most recipients, whereas the time between doses in the United Kingdom has typically been longer.6                           Although the time period from last vax plays a role, these were all SEVERE cases, nonetheless. Furthermore, the unvaccinated only accounted for one-third of the severe cases, with no vaccination time interval to use as an excuse! If the numbers were equal then the time interval could be considered important but for the unvaccinated to constitute only one third of severe cases shows a clear advantage for the unvaccinated! So let them try to "move the goalposts" but the poor results remain poor for the vaccinated Israelis no matter how you crunch the numbers!
