Mocking and ridicule have been among the least of the diabolical attacks to discredit this vital work to get to the bottom of serious allegations by citizens. Legal maneuvering, cover-up, destruction of evidence, collusion, flat-out refusal to cooperate have been additional dimensions to undermine and bring ridicule, and of course “conspiracy theory” charges.
