As you’ve probably seen, Project Veritas scored its FIRST MAJOR LEGAL VICTORY against Twitter after a Manhattan federal judge opposed the Big Tech company’s motion to remand the O’Keefe v. Twitter case to a Silicon Valley-friendly court.
To put it simply: Twitter will now have to battle this case in Veritas’ backyard.
This is a significant win for justice and accountability, but there is still a LONG WAY to go until we get to depose Twitter executives and ultimately win the case.
Twitter decided to permanently suspend Project Veritas founder and CEO James O’Keefe in April after Veritas launched the bombshell #ExposeCNN tapes showing the network’s technical director, Charlie Chester, boasting about how CNN engages in “propaganda.”
Was the timing with our series of CNN releases purely coincidental? We think you know the answer to that rhetorical question.
Worse yet, Twitter claimed that O’Keefe was “operating fake accounts,” which is completely false and defamatory.
We decided to sue Twitter immediately after that. We had no other choice.
Project Veritas will NEVER back down from a fight against Big Tech’s censorship, let alone their defamation.
In fact, Veritas’ will to fight back is becoming contagious. Just today, President Trump filed a class action lawsuit against Big Tech for their censorship practices.
