The First take: While Joe Manchin's been getting most of the attention for his stance on the filibuster and how vital it is in protecting the minority in the US Senate, Senator Sinema has "quietly" been sticking to her principals. The First take: "Courage," Dan... that's what Jon Stewart was showing by telling the truth instead of trying to manufacture it. Do these people have no sense of their own hypocrisy and the irony? Apparently not. Rather's rather tone-deaf on this one.

The First take: Buffalo Bills' star and GrubHub spokesperson Cole Beasley is part of the estimated 50% of NFL players who have not been vaccinated. His two page "public service announcement" and explanation makes good sense to us. Let's hope the league and the team owners read it.
