Mexican authorities try to convince 100's of fake refugees to move away from border

More three hundred people have been sleeping at the Chaparral border crossing in Tijuana.  These appear to be  mostly new fraudulent asylum seekers, who do not yet have a court case and they are hoping that Biden will soon allow everyone to come into the US, not just the ones that have been waiting in Mexico.  This has apparently been the reason that CBP has recently started manning guard shacks on the lanes going into Mexico.  They just wave people through from the US side, but it seems that they are concerned that hundreds of refugees may rush the border crossing from the Mexican side as they did on Thanksgiving Day, 2018.  Many more fake refugees are on the way to the border, by caravan or not.  So, the number camping out at the border, could grow very soon and very quickly.  Stay tuned to this channel for updates.

The challenge: convincing migrants to vacate the El Chaparral checkpoint

Tijuana.- The Tijuana authorities and activists have the challenge of convincing the more than 300 migrants to vacate the El Chaparral checkpoint, who have spent two weeks sleeping there to request humanitarian asylum in the United States.

This was considered by the director of the Binational Center for Human Rights, Víctor Clark Alfaro, who said that people in the context of mobility have not yet understood that for the moment they will not be served by the immigration authorities of the neighboring country.

He warned that migrants will remain there as long as they hope to achieve the American dream.

“It is desperation and the belief that being there (in El Chaparral) brings them closer to applying for asylum, the truth is that it does not change anything at all, but people are so hopeful and have left their places of residence with so many expectations. origin, ”stated Clark Alfaro.

He reiterated that this problem must be addressed through dialogue and not through law enforcement, as it would cause a chaos similar to that of the caravans that were registered in previous years, in which children and adults were affected.
