HERE IT COMES!

 Submitted by: P McMillan

We knew this was part of the Biden agenda, and now here it comes. Just wait as more laws are passed, churches that don't 'toe-the-line' will eventually lose their tax-exempt status under IRS code 501-C3. People who don't comply will be eventually charged with crimes against humanity (Transgender rights are human rights.”)  The drumbeat of Divine judgment on America is getting louder and louder...

Biden vows to fight for transgender community: ‘We must work to end the epidemic of violence and discrimination’

11/20/20

President-elect Joe Biden marked Transgender Day of Remembrance by renewing its promise to fight for the transgender community.

Biden, who celebrated this 78th birthday Friday, released a statement honoring the lives of the transgender and gender-nonconforming people killed in the U.S. in 2020.

According to the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest LGBTQ advocacy group, this year was the deadliest for the community, with at least 37 violent deaths, since it began recording murders of trans people in 2013.

Nearly all of them were transgender women of color.

Biden, the first president-elect to mention the trans community in a victory acceptance speech, said that the growing violence against the community is “intolerable.”

“On Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honor their lives — and recommit to the work that remains to ensure that every transgender and gender-nonconforming person in America has the opportunity to live authentically, earn a living wage, and be treated with dignity and respect in their communities and workplaces,” he said in a statement released Friday.

He added that “we must work to end the epidemic of violence and discrimination … and never repeat it.”

Renewing a promise he made during his presidential campaign, Biden took the opportunity to say that, “Transgender rights are human rights.”

“To the transgender and gender-nonconforming people across America and around the world: from the moment I am sworn in as president of the United States, know that my administration will see you, listen to you, and fight for not only your safety but also the dignity and justice you have been denied,” he said.

According to GLAAD, an LGBTQ media advocacy group, Transgender Day of Remembrance is an annual observance that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence.

“This year has been the deadliest on record for transgender people,” the organization’s president and CEO, Sarah Kate Ellis, told the Daily News in a statement.

“Most of the victims were Black trans women or women of color who were beloved family members, friends, and valued members of their communities, but their lives were not protected by a culture that continues to target and villainize trans people. As we pay tribute to each of them, we continue to urge the media to call attention to this escalating epidemic of violence and continue to work toward creating a culture that supports, accepts, and values all transgender people,” she added.
