ACTION ALERT - Howard County Council Virtual Hearing Monday, November 16, 7pm, promoting County Sanctuary Legislation (CB63-2020).
Howard residents needed to testify to stop this dangerous County Council bill!

Howard County, Maryland - Guess the excitement of waiting for the final legal vote results of the Presidential election and the two Georgia Senate races are not enough to keep the mindless politicians in Howard County from doing more harm to their constituents.
Seems like only yesterday that these same lawless politicians pressured the Howard County Department of Corrections to severely water down their long-standing agreement with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials. No longer can the Howard detention facility hold illegal alien criminals charged with crimes (the vast majority of those previously held). Now only convicted illegal alien criminals can be held as part of the ICE agreement.
Despite losing needed federal funding from ICE to help run the Howard detention center, Howard elected officials believed this dramatic change to the ICE agreement made their county more welcoming and friendly to "immigrants". How screwed up is that?
Bill CB63-2020 - But that was not enough for these light-weight Howard politicians. Now they want to go the full "MoCo Loco" by becoming a Sanctuary County like their neighbors to the south in Montgomery County. Maybe Howard politicians want to have a contest with Montgomery to see who can facilitate the most child rapes, murders, drug and prostitution arrests, and other horrible crimes by illegal alien creeps in a year?
The bill actually states, quote "the Howard County Council wishes to ensure that all residents of Howard County, regardless of nationality or citizenship, shall have fair and equal access to County benefits, opportunities and services."
Illegals will be given the same access to all taxpayer funded benefits, opportunities and services as citizens!! That's what it says.
Howard Council Member Opel Jones, the alleged author of CB63-2020, is a noted math professor at American University (classes for students who struggled to pass math in high school - Class rated quite easy by students with no need to show up for class/class often breaks early).
He clearly used the same "la-di-da" approach when drafting this sanctuary bill. One only needs to see the MS-13 crime, murders, drugs and prostitution, illegal alien rapes of underage children (Jones has two young kids) and abuse of the Montgomery County healthcare and other social services, let alone the explosion of new children in Montgomery County public schools to see what a mistake this is.
But Jones is obviously too busy padding his resume and personal commitments to worry about the safety and well-being of Howard's tax-paying citizens and their families. If Jones was a Renaissance man, the Sistine Chapel would never have been completed. He is seemingly more focused on helping MS-13 gang members, criminal aliens and CASA of Maryland supporters feel comfy in Howard County.
We need concerned Howard County citizens to step up and help stop this bill in its tracks!
