LIBERAL DISTORTION OF TRUTH...NOT RARE AT ALL...(SADLY)

Dear Friend,

I have seen a lot of lies told about Project Veritas in my life.

I have also seen incredible deceptive editing by “journalists” who attack Project Veritas’ credibility.

But a report from Fox 9 Minneapolis last night may just be the most egregious distortion of the truth that I have ever seen.

You can watch my reaction to Fox 9’s propaganda HERE:

In Fox 9’s report, the so-called “investigative journalist” Tom Lyden clearly suppresses the news by attempting to clear Liban Mohamed’s name while also undermining the credibility of Project Veritas’ reporting.

Liban was featured in our videos after recording himself on Snapchat in early July bragging about having hundreds of ballots in his car. Liban incriminates himself in his own videos!

In Lyden’s irresponsible reporting, he completely omits the fact that a person having more than three ballots in their possession in Minnesota is illegal AT ALL TIMES.

What’s worse: the so-called ‘five-week period’ where this sort of ballot harvesting was supposedly legal [but it really never was legal] was actually between late July and early September.

Liban’s Snapchat video is clearly dated from July 2! Where is that in your report, Mr. Lyden?

The most disgusting part of Fox 9’s report is when Lyden tees up Liban to say Project Veritas offered him a $10,000 bribe to make comments for our investigation!

“Omar Jamal, who he [Liban] had not met previously, told him Project Veritas would pay him $10,000 to say he was harvesting ballots for Congresswoman Ilhan Omar.”

That is an outright lie. This NEVER happened.

It is shameful that someone who calls himself an “investigative journalist” would report this smear from a shady Ballot Harvester as if it was a true statement – after we told Lyden himself it was not true.

Liban is trying absolutely anything to evade the very damning evidence of his ILLEGAL ballot harvesting.

The next hack move that Lyden and Liban worked on was an attempt to discredit the $200 cash-for-ballot exchange captured on tape.

Here is what Lyden said:

“But two sources tell the FOX 9 Investigators the man is a relative of Omar Jamal, and that during the encounter outside Cedar Riverside Apartments, it is Jamal who is handing the man $200 which was intended for the family of a sick relative in Somalia.”

Who are your sources? Why should anyone believe you on this?

Also, isn’t it quite obvious that $200 is clearly being offered in exchange for a ballot? It’s on VIDEO TAPE!

If clearing Liban’s name wasn’t bad enough, Lyden also went out of his way to clear Basim Omar Sabri’s name.

Sabri was featured in our video because he was repeatedly cited as a financier for the ballot harvesting scheme, although he denied the allegations in this Fox 9 report.

If you didn’t know about Sabri, here is a good place to start:

Sabri even says he would sue Project Veritas for defamation! Oh, the irony.

Mr. Sabri, we are undefeated in litigation and your lawsuit will just be another victory for us to add to our Wall of Pain.

Lyden is also latching on to the idea that Project Veritas Insider Omar Jamal is changing his tune since the videos were released.

That is absolutely not true. NOTHING that Omar Jamal has said since the videos were launched contradicts our original reporting.

Our reporting is solid – and Fox 9’s interpretation of Omar Jamal’s quote on Somali TV is simply a dishonest translation.

Last but not least, Lyden also cites the bogus New York Times story that claims Project Veritas coordinated “disinformation” when launching this story.

We are going to fight The New York Times and any other “news” outlet that reports this falsehood.

There was no coordination done to undermine The New York Times’ tax story about President Donald Trump.

Project Veritas did what every media outlet does: inform certain people about a story before it is launched in order to increase the story’s impact. The New York Times used that fact as evidence that our story was “disinformation.”

This Fox 9 report is a daisy chain of bogus claims. It is surreal.

Also, Tom Lyden, calling Project Veritas a “right-wing disinformation group” and our Minnesota story “conspiracy” will be dealt with. Your pathetic reporting has consequences.

Friendthis is the price of fighting for the truth. Media hacks come after you and try to suppress the news that undermines their political agenda.

I promise you: I will never let them get away with it.
