Chicago: At least 30 shot, three killed over weekend – bringing fatality total to 576 for the year CHICAGO, IL – Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s city saw another violent weekend as at least 30 people were shot and three were killed. The violence began Friday afternoon on South Oakland Avenue where someone opened fire on a 35-year old man and a 14-year-old girl in the street. The man died at the hospital.
