'We Will Level Tel Aviv to the Ground' Senior Iranian Official Warns Israel…... February 20, 2018
Iranian secretary of the Expediency Council arbitration body Mohsen Rezaei speaks during a news conference in Tehran.
"The US and Israeli leaders don’t know Iran and don’t understand the power of resistance and therefore, they continuously face defeat."
Any attacks carried out against Iran will result in the destruction of Tel Aviv, Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran's Expediency Council, warned Israel on Monday, according to the Fars News Agency.
Quoted by Iran's semi-official government news site, Rezaei, in response to Netanyahu's comments at the Munich Security Conference, asserted that "If they [Israel] carry out the slightest unwise move against Iran, we will level Tel Aviv to the ground and will not give any opportunity to Netanyahu to flee."
"The US and Israeli leaders don't know Iran and don't understand the power of resistance and therefore, they continuously face defeat," he was quoted as saying in an interview with Lebanese Hezbollah-affiliated Al Manar News.
"Today, the situation of the US and Israel indicate their fear of the Zionist regime's collapse and the US decline," he added in the interview.
Mohsen has obviously yet to read the Biblical prophecies concerning his nation? They do not offer much encouragement to this man and his nation?
Hamas Leaders in Disarray, Split Over Mixed Signals from Tehran….. February 20, 2018
It turns out that Al Qods chief Qassem Soleimani quietly directed Hamas leaders to hold their fire against Israel. Khaled Meshaal says: Line up behind Mahmoud Abbas…..
When Saleh Arouri, commander of the Hamas military arm, along with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Ziyad Nahalah, [pictured below] visited Tehran on February 14, they heard General Soleimani, commander of Iran’s Middle East operations declaring in a fiery speech that “launching missiles at Israel is not enough.”
But at a quiet meeting, the Iranian general secretly issued the reverse directive, reliable intelligence sources reveal.
It was substantially, “Don’t pull the trigger until we are ready.”
In other words, save your resources and strength for later; wait until Iran’s operations in Syria with its Shiite militias and Hizballah are ready to go for a military showdown with Israel.
The two Palestinian terrorist chiefs met with Soleimani twice last week.
Nevertheless, [as described below in the following article] on Friday, 16, a Hamas bomb was planted on the Gaza border on Friday.
It exploded the next day injuring four Israeli soldiers – a provocation against Israel that held the potential of sparking a major confrontation.
Hamas leaders are evidently divided on where to go next. They were further confused when their former leader Khaled Meshaal strongly advised Hamas terrorist chiefs to exercise restraint in their attacks on Israel – much like the Iranian general, but for the opposite reason.
In their secret confabulations, Meshaal maintained that the Palestinians must now appreciate that their most dangerous foe is no longer Israel, but US President Donald Trump and his policy for the Palestinian-Israel dispute.
He warned that Trump’s alliance with key Arab leaders, Egyptian President Abdel-Fatteh el-Sisi and Saudi Crown Prince Muhammed Bin Salman, could lead to the eclipse of the entire Palestinian national movement.
Therefore, he urged Hamas to line up behind its rival, Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, regardless of the consequences, because he is spearheading a campaign against the US president.
At the same time, reliable sources in Washington reveal another Palestinian pivot:
Abbas too has begun singing a different tune.
While announcing the severance of all Ramallah’s ties with the Trump administration, he suddenly put out covert messages of reassurance to the administration early Tuesday, February 20:
The US should not be concerned, he indicated, because the speech he delivers at the UN Security Council will indeed ask for full recognition of Palestine as a member state, but in milder terms than ever before.
The Washington sources gained the impression that the Abbas is preparing to “surprise even Israel.” These messages were passed on to President Trump.
Hopefully Trump will see through this obfuscation as yet another ploy along the lines of a false rapprochement offered by Abbas' prophet to his enemies centuries ago?
Abbas Calls for International Conference to Replace US Mediation….. February 20, 2018
Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas put it upon the U.N. to replace the U.S. as mediator for Israeli-Palestinian peace talks with an intervention conference in mid-2018.
Addressing the UN Security Council on Tuesday, he said the conference should produce a settlement that recognises the state of Palestine on the lines of 1967.
Abbas allowed that the two sides would have to negotiate over the final status of holy sites in Jerusalem, but he emphasised that “during the period of negotiations, all parties must refrain from unilateral actions, including the transfer of the US embassy to Jerusalem”.
After addressing the Council, he pointedly left the room, before the US and Israeli ambassadors rose for their speeches.
Soleimani to Gaza Terrorists: Missiles Against Israel are not Enough….. February 20, 2018
The IDF is launching a probe to find out whether the Combat Engineering Corps unit was observing standing safety protocols on Saturday, February 17, when a bomb hidden at the Gaza border fence exploded and injured four servicemen.
This protocol requires bomb disposal specialists from the Engineering Corps to make sure that the terrain under suspicion is clear of explosives before approaching it and if any are found, to neutralise them.
But on Saturday, when the sappers approached a Palestinian flagpole behind the fence, it blew up, injuring an Engineering Crops officer and a Golani company commander and two soldiers.
The bomb was hidden under cover of one of the rowdy anti-Israel rallies which are staged by Hamas every Friday.
IDF chiefs might have been better prepared for this trap had they taken note of a speech delivered on Wednesday, February 14, by Major General Qassem Soleimani Commander of Iran’s Al Qods Force,[pictured above] the Iranian Revolutionary Guards branch responsible for external terror, who is also in charge of Iran’s Middle East operations.
He spoke on the 10th anniversary of the assassination of Imad Mughniyeh, Hizballah’s military chief, whose terrorist atrocities rivalled those of Osama Bin laden.
Soleimani exhorted Iran’s proxies and dependants in these terms: “Avenging the blood of Imad and people like him who have been martyred in Palestine, Lebanon and Iran under the instructions of the Zionist regime[Israel] is through annihilation of this child-murdering Zionist regime.
“The enemy understands this is certain to happen,” said the Iranian general at a commemoration ceremony in Tehran. He went on to emphasise that just launching missiles at Israel is not enough: “This regime must not survive!”
His words fell on willing ears: Saleh Arouri, [pictured above] commander of Hamas’ military arm, Ezz e-din Al-Qassam, had come from the Gaza Strip to attend the ceremony.
Two days later, Soleimani’s directive was executed when, as revealed above, a concealed bomb hidden by a Palestinian flag injured four Israeli servicemen.
It triggered a major flare-up between Israel and the Gaza Strip, which is still very much ongoing.
The war drums have reached a deafening beat! Can it be avoided?
