LAS VEGAS CITY COUNCILWOMAN MICHELE FIORE (Ward 6) SENDS INFORMATION AND WISHES - 10/24/2017

Dear Friends,

After the tragedy of October 1st, the most dangerous thing we can do as a community is carry on with our  lives as business as usual. Let us not forget we still have people in critical condition, let us not forget the love and care we gave each other no matter what race, religion or political party we are. The blood we donated to the Red Cross has a shelf life so continue to make appointments to go down and give more. Squeeze your friends and family a little tighter, smell your kids hair, kiss your love a little longer and love your neighbor even if you disagree. Just respect each other.

My prayer, message & a moment of silence. Click photo.

Be prepared, be careful and don't leave a bag in sight.
This is my car parked in front of Stoney's. I popped by Stoney's to support the fundraising event with Commissioner Sisolak, GOP Chair Michael McDonald, Chair of CCRP Carl Bunce and so many friends and supporters. Stoney's was packed full of incredible people.  I arrived at 6:30pm and left at 8:00pm to find my car vandalized and items stolen. This Holiday Season could be a little rough so please don't leave anything in sight in your vehicle you wouldn't want stolen.

Activities
Thank you Councilman Seroka for inviting our team to tour Nellis Air Force Base with you and your team.  We had a blast and learned so much. We love our Military men & women and we thank them for their service everyday.

On a lighter note Councilman Seroka & I joined the Pride Parade and rode on Big Red with our fabulous City Fire Fighters. Thank you Las Vegas Fire.

Our city is large, growing and has a lot of departments which means there are people that we work with that we never get to meet. It's important to me to meet with everyone and thank them for all they do.  Our team is setting up lunches with the different departments.  This week we got to meet and have lunch with the men & women that keep our parks beautiful.  They're an awesome group. Thank you guys for keeping Ward 6 fun and beautiful.

I had the opportunity to meet Judge Jeanine Pirro at the annual KeyStone Dinner.  Thank you Robert Uithoven & Ryan Hamilton with j3 strategies for inviting me to dinner. I had a blast and Judge Jeanine was fabulous.

Some family fun, my grandson Jake entered his second rodeo, he's so darn cute! Thank you Richie & Fallon Griffith.

It's that time of year to take family portraits, my family is so much fun and growing. My daughter Sheena in the spirit of Halloween and to spoof one of the attack mail pieces that was sent to the voters of Ward 6 in the past campaign decided to add axes to a photo. It was a lot of fun.  I have a new Grand-Princess, her name is Jemma she's 3 months old and she is grandchild number 5. This was her first family shoot and she did so well.

All my grandchildren!

All kidding aside, we love you, have a safe and fun Halloween.

XO

Michele
