Sochi Olympics Terror Alert

Dear Conservatives, The 2014 Winter Olympics are set to open under an unprecedented shadow of danger in the Russian city of Sochi. Islamic jihadists have repeatedly threatened to disrupt these Olympics with mass murder attacks, targeting not only Russian officials, but tourists who go to see the Games. They've already carried out several bombings in Volgograd and elsewhere, engaged in shootouts with Russian police, and issued threats of coming strikes. These same jihadists already struck at a major sporting event in the United States. On April 15, 2013, they murdered three Americans and injured well over two hundred people at the Boston Marathon. Will Sochi be round two? The jihad group threatening the Sochi Olympics, the Islamic Emirate of the Caucasus, is the same group that Russian authorities warned us about several years before the Boston jihad attack. Tamerlan Tsarnaev – the mastermind of the Boston Bombing – had met repeatedly with members of this jihad group, but FBI agents didn't heed the warnings and deemed him harmless. Tsarnaev's mosque, the Islamic Society of Boston, also had numerous disquieting ties to jihad terror, but instead of investigating further the FBI simply launched an "outreach" program. And now jihadists from the same group are hoping to drown the Olympics in blood. Around the same time, the FBI was also under pressure from Muslim groups to drop experts who had been training agents for years about the nature and root causes of the global jihad threat.
