         Iconoclast H.L. Mencken may have been the orneriest curmudgeon ever to put acid-dipped pen to paper, but regarding Obama voters, his famous epigram – “Democracy is the theory that the common people know exactly what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard” – is so true it hurts (them and us).

         Massachusetts businessman “Battlin’ Bill” Barnstead was a perennial Republican offering against then-House Speaker Tip O’Neill. As crusty as Mencken – and certain that nothing he said or did could possibly alter the inevitability of O’Neill’s reelection every two years – Bill was contemptuous of the electorate he was expected to court.

         In one of his campaigns, Barnstead produced a brochure with a caricature of himself as Uncle Sam, pointing an accusing finger and asking voters in the Mass. 8th. Congressional District: “Are you ignorant or stupid?”

There is a television ad running in Nevada where Obama claims, "Romney has declared war on those earning less than $25,000.00 annually." As he says these words he indicates workers in the ad to beware of Romney...

Big lie! What's worse is the workers he shows are, a teacher, a police officer and a fireman!

Not one of the three is salaried at less than $50,000.00 annually! Factually none of the tree earns less than $70.000.00 annually!

What this ad truly does is to show how much Obama is out of touch with reality or, how much of a lie he is willing to attest to!

I was watching Sunday football, when a Barack Obama commercial came on. It ended with the words, “I’m Barack Obama and I approve this commercial because it is a complete lie and I am a pathological liar.”

No, it didn’t really end that way.

But it should have.

The Obama regime is the most dishonest, most corrupt we have seen since the Nixon era.  Unfortunately, we now have a media that is nothing more than an arm of the Obama campaign.  There are a lot of questions that need to be answered. 

If we had a real media that was interested in being independent, they would be asking questions.
