OBAMA'S APPROVAL RATING 38% AND SINKING!

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 19% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-five percent (45%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -26 (see trends).  
This is the lowest Approval Index rating yet measured for President Obama. The previous low was -24 reached yesterday and also in September 2010. Additionally, the level of Strong Approval matches the lowest yet recorded. By way of comparison, President Bush had ratings near the end of his second term in the minus 30s.
As tension continues in Libya, just 12% think the United States should get more involved in Syria.
Only 20% think government anti-poverty programs reduce poverty.  Seventy-one percent (71%) believe too many people get welfare who should not be getting it.  Only 18% believe the opposite is true. Fifty-nine percent (59%) think immigrants who follow the law and enter the United States legally should have to wait three years or more before collecting welfare benefits

Dr. Judith Reisman recently attended a symposium held by "minority-attracted people" advocacy group B4U-ACT to disseminate "accurate information" on the position that pedophilia is just one more alternative sexual orientation.

Excerpt: Laid-off workers and aging baby boomers are flooding Social Security's disability program with benefit claims, pushing the financially strapped system toward the brink of insolvency. Applications are up nearly 50 percent over a decade ago as people with disabilities lose their jobs and can't find new ones in an economy that has shed nearly 7 million jobs. The stampede for benefits is adding to a growing backlog of applicants - many wait two years or more before their cases are resolved - and worsening the financial problems of a program that's been running in the red for years. New congressional estimates say the trust fund that supports Social Security disability will run out of money by 2017, leaving the program unable to pay full benefits, unless Congress acts. About two decades later, Social Security's much larger retirement fund is projected to run dry, too, leaving it unable to pay full benefits as well. (Note that the “trust fund” is only a box of government bonds which cannot be sold on the open market, as the government has borrowed and spend everything in the “fund.” So either way, it has to come up with the cash.
