| While watching the debt ceiling increase by $2.4 trillion just to cover spending until the next presidential election, the scam perpetrated on the American people could not have been any more obvious. While the Republican-controlled House of Representatives negotiated with itself for weeks in an attempt to propose something that might save our great nation from financial disaster, neither the U.S. Senate nor the White House proposed any plan at all. Even worse, while listening to Barack Obama's rhetoric about the need for a bipartisan solution, the Majority Leader of the Democrat-controlled Senate announced that bills coming from the House were “dead on arrival.” In fact, nothing coming from the House was even allowed to be debated by the overly partisan Senate leadership. This resulted in another crisis-not-to-be-wasted. As the administration-imposed deadline of August 2 approached, the Democrats' rhetoric followed a familiar pattern as they attempted to frighten the American public with false accusations that grandma won’t get her medical care, seniors will lose their Social Security, sick children will be turned away, and that a major calamity will occur if no increase in the debt ceiling is approved by August 2. | Impeachment usually represents a punitive act following the commission of a crime, but some are looking to it as a last means of self-defense. At a Tea Party town hall meeting last night Rep. Michael Burgess, R-TX, said impeachment "needs to happen" to stop Barack Obama from inflicting more "damage" on this country. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram claims an attendee "suggested that the House push for impeachment proceedings against President Barack Obama to obstruct the president from pushing his agenda." Burgess, who represents four counties in northern Texas, responded: "It needs to happen, and I agree with you it would tie things up. No question about that." He later stood by his comment.... |

SANCTUARY CITIES CALLED TO TASK!
LOCALIZED SECURE COMMUNITIES AGREEMENTS TERMINATED
Sanctuary cities and states across the country have lost their claim to confusion over whether or not the mandatory, federal Secure Communities program is optional.Immigrations and Customs Enforcement said its director, John Morton, recently sent a letter to state governors terminating existing agreements with jurisdictions over the program in order to nix inconsistent federal guidelines which have allowed some jurisdictions to opt out.
Through the program, fingerprint data of individuals arrested by local and state law enforcement agencies is shares with federal authorities who can use the information to check for immigration violations. ICE hopes to have the program in place nationwide by 2013.

I'll try to explain
Heidi is the proprietor of a bar in Detroit .
She realizes that virtually all of her customers are unemployed alcoholics and,
as such, can no longer afford to patronize her bar.
To solve this problem, she comes up with a new marketing plan that
allows her customers to drink now, but pay later.
Heidi keeps track of the drinks consumed on a ledger (thereby granting the customers' loans).
Word gets around about Heidi's "drink now, pay later" marketing strategy and, as a result, increasing numbers of customers flood into Heidi's bar. Soon she has the largest sales volume for any bar in Detroit.
