"JOINT INTERAGENCY PROCESS"
URGENT: Former CIA Director General David Petraeus revealed Friday that the Intelligence communities and the White House knew the Benghazi massacre was a terrorist attack right away.
Petraeus couldn't say who changed the intelligence memo for public relations release after it left the CIA or how exactly the bureaucratic bungling on September 11th and 12th resulted in the MURDER of FOUR Americans.
The White House is counting on the tangled trail to make it impossible to find out WHO is responsible, but we will not be distracted from our pursuit of accountability and justice!
Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y. told Fox News that top lawmakers believe that references to "Al Qaeda involvement" were stripped from the agency's original talking points, and that now it's a matter of finding out who made the edits. King's best guess is that it was somebody in the administration.
The Obama administration has flat-out denied making any changes to the intelligence memo, except to clarify that the Benghazi facility lacked the diplomatic rank of "consulate." But the Obama administration's focus is on ensuring that responsibility for U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice's terrorist-less talking point to NO ONE. We are to believe this "change" was the result of unattributable "joint interagency" efforts to be "careful" and "accurate" in reporting "the facts." We are NOT to understand it as something so simple as not wanting to publicly call a terrorist attack for what it was because THAT was a political disaster for President Obama!
