Dear Patriot,
Article 1 Section 1 of the United States Constitution reads, “All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.”
When this President declares that he "can't wait on Congress" and instead seeks to rule by royal decree, he is literally violating the first written law of our nation. Congress must stand up for its constitutional authority and fight the flagrant abuse of the executive order.
Barack Obama's reliance on the executive order to advance his ideological agenda belies two things. First, he cannot provide the leadership necessary to get majority to support his proposals. Second, he is willing to ignore the Constitution in order to advance his agenda.
