Now presidential candidate Rick Perry has joined a host of others to call for the resignation or the firing of Attorney General Eric Holder over Fast and Furious. Previously, Michelle Bachman had called for his resignation. At least 51 Congressmen have called for his resignation! 

Rick Perry urged: "Mr. Holder's proclaimed ignorance leaves Americans to draw one of two conclusions: Either he is guilty of extraordinary bureaucratic incompetence or he is guilty of a cover-up meant to shield him from the consequences of an operation that has left at least one federal agent dead and continues to imperil many more!"

Holder’s days as attorney general may be numbered as resignation calls double overnight

Attorney General Eric Holder’s tenure in the Obama administration may be coming to an end. At least eight members of Congress have now called on Holder to resign over the growing Operation Fast and Furious scandal.

Republican Reps. Vicky Hartzler of Missouri, John Mica of Florida, Quico Canseco ofTexas and Gus Bilirakis of Florida each told The Daily Caller on Thursday that they believe Holder should step down now. The number of members of Congress calling for Holder to end his career in government because of Fast and Furious is now eight, a number which has doubled in one day.

Previously, Republican Reps. Joe Walsh of Illinois, Raul Labrador of Idaho, Blake Farenthold of Texas and Paul Gosar of Arizona called on Holder to resign.

REP. ISSA ACCUSES ATF OF OBSTRUCTING JUSTICE

In what is perhaps a brave new threshold of grim irony for the Obama faction, a Department of Justice agency is being accused of obstructing justice. The ATF General Counsel has apparently sent threatening letters to witnesses, prompting Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) to accuse the agency of interfering with a Congressional investigation.

TELL CONGRESS – ERIC HOLDER MUST GO!

This news comes on the heels of the explosive email released last week proving that Obama's own National Security Director for North America, Kevin O'Reilly, was briefed nearly one year ago on "Project Gun Walker" by an ATF Special Agent In Charge.

In a desperate attempt to maintain a cover-up at the highest levels, the ATF has apparently resorted to intimidating witnesses. In an interview with the Washington Times, Rep. Issa reported that at least two of his key witnesses received threatening letters from ATF Associate Chief Counsel Barry S. Orlow warning them to keep certain areas off-limits from Congress, including those still under investigation. As a result, at least one witness tried to back out of testifying. This prompted Chairman Issa to send a letter to the ATF suggesting the agency "is obstructing and interfering with the Congressional investigation."
