- Strive to cut our nation's spending to levels that allow us to not onlyeliminate the deficit, but allow us to pay down the debt. That's why I support H.J. Res 73, the Amash Business Cycle Balanced Budget Amendment, which will cap spending and use budget surpluses to pay down the debt.
