Dear Conservatives,
How would you like President Obama creating yet another new barrier to
employment in an already tough economy?
How would you like government agents ordering you to give preference to one job candidate over another?
If Obama's interference in our lives makes you sick, I hope you'll take a moment to
read the rest of my letter.
You see, right now a bill is percolating in Congress which would
create a special class of citizen with
government-mandated employment in all our businesses, our churches, our
schools and our daycares.
What I'm talking about is the so-called "Employment
Non-Discrimination Act," -- S. 815 and H.R. 1755 -- better named the Gay Bill of Special Rights.
Instead of allowing an employer the
freedom to judge applicants on their expertise, appearance
and actions, the federal government wants you to play by new rules.
