California Governor Jerry Brown has until the end of the month to sign Assembly Bill 1081 into law or the measure fails. Assembly Bill 1081 would declare California as America's first 'sanctuary state' where illegal aliens will not be detained by police until after they have engaged in very violent crimes.

The illegal alien supporting groups are lobbying Jerry Brown to sign the bill into law. We need a strong and steady stream of calls coming in from Americans that oppose illegal immigration to try to persuade Brown not to sign the bill.

CA DREAM ACT DOLES OUT $14.5 MILLION TO ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS
 

California Gov. Jerry Brown signed part two of the California Dream Act into law thispast Saturday. The law REQUIRES taxpayers to shell out $14.5 million a year in state grants to illegal immigrants to help them pay for college with state grants. Brown attempted to downplay the costs to Americans by saying the bill would affect only 1% of the $1.4 billion in annual Cal-Grant funding. The California Dream Act was forced upon taxpayers without regard to balancing the state’s budget when it is broke, has raised tuition, and has cut services to legal residents. According to Assemblyman Gil Cedillo, “it’s the smartest thing to do.”
